Is it me or cheaters are more frequent ?
I'm talking about "subtle" cheats like speed hacks, wall hacks and so on
Just played a match in lerry's, behind a wall injured, he double back everytime i did (i could hear him behind the wall)
Other times : impossible to catch up to survivors, no perk giving them speed, gens being done at an abnormal speed its uncanny
Ive seen them more in chaos shuffle btw, as if they think random perks hide it better

Me holding W after a survivor: makes it all the way across the map and I somehow don't catch up.
Me holding W as a killer chases me: rapidly closes the distance.
Make it make sense. I have 5k hours in this game. A shocking amount of survivors have bloodlust these days.

It feels like I get a spike of really obvious cheaters every now and then and a few that I can't really tell if it's me being paranoid or not, then it all goes back to normal for a while until the next time. Probably just my imagination, but it feels like this happens in waves.

Yes, exactly
that or distance gain on loops as soon as they get out of sight

The big one to watch for with killer players is ESP. I've caught a few and got report feedback on ones where they didn't have BBQ and somehow beelined right to a slug across the map.

The game has a massive discount on Epic Games right now and EG doesn't have the same protection Steam has, so if there's an actual increased frequency on hackers, it can be lots of them getting new accounts.
Also, the higher your MMR goes because the better you get, the better survivors you're going to be matched against, hackers tend to win extremely often so if you're a bad killer you're not gonna see them often, while if you're a good killer you're gonna be matched with them (in addition, if you're good, you will have it memorized how fast survivors generally are. The MFT times were horrible to tell MFT users from sublte speedhackers apart)

Got 1k hours, mostly killers, i pretty much now how fast people can be yeah
And sometimes, it feels way to weird that i cant catch up
And ofc, those people are not on steam but still can talk in endgame so i thinks EGS

It's roughly a fact that everyone agrees on.

Yes, unfortunately subtle cheaters are becoming more and more common, so you'll have to get used to it.
There is no useful protection against this.
You can record and report sus game play.
However, it is quite possible that in the event of a ban you will have needed more time to report, than the banned player needs to get a new account.2 -
Yup, the amount of "subtle" 105% boosted survivors is getting out of hand. It's especially funny considering it doesn't even require so many hours of experience in the game to easily tell when the survivor is definitely moving too fast with no proper reason, even if it's just 105%. And if you focus and tunnel them - they don't actually last that long, unless they toggle to the fullest, since people who think 105% speed in this game is "subtle" are usually not that experienced in the game, so holding Shift+W meta only gets them so far.

However, it is quite possible that in the event of a ban you will have
needed more time to report, than the banned player needs to get a new
account. That's actually true. The free giveaway on EGS gave them virtually unlimited supply of new FREE accounts, it's TF2 level of cheater prevalence now. This is why almost all cheaters you encounter in the game are from EGS, so you see the globe if you are on steam and they still can type in the chat.
