The only reason Nemesis only has two zombies in his kit is because the old engine couldnt handle anymore, according to the Devs. But now that we've upgraded tp a much more powerful engine, I think it's time to add more Zombies to Nemesis' power. Anything to make him more different then the Xenomorph is a good thing, since Xeno is the much better choice to play as, currently.

Personally, I think 4 zombies should be the absolute minimum Nemesis should have basekit, but I'd be comfortable with 5 or 6, with potentially more with the use of addons. Make going against Nemesis feel like trying to escape a trial during a zombie apocalypse!

I don't think he needs that many, but your idea would make for an insanely awesome game mode with a whole bunch of zombies running around , things would have to be adjusted to account for it but what if it was like a time trial or survival mode where the whole objective is to run the killer in a map full of zombies as long as you can and their job would be to down you as fast as possible and they could use this opportunity to introduce a leader board to that game mode which has been something alot of people used to want

I think 4 on the map would be fine if all the zombies had a range detection area to prevent them grouping up. That way each zombie has 1/4th the map they can travel in, but still remain mobile. I think the most annoying thing ever as playing him or against is when both zombies are in a close area to one another either making it so you cant work on a single gen, on a random loop, or pointlessly in a dead area.

One time I swear it was the funniest thing ever, I was doing a gen and two zombies somehow got stuck on eachother near a hook, a random went down who had boil over and the zombies just so happened to get free at the same time and I ######### you not they both body blocked him from the hook the random wiggled out and he DC, I was in tears laughing

I would like to see zombies reworked so that there can be more of them, like 4, but also not have them awful to face.

More like, make them more easily killable but more consistent at disturbing generator progress and interfering with tiles. Maybe they could be louder or give off some warning where they are so survivors don't get blind sighted?

I've suggested this before but I think it'd be neat for consistency if zombies stayed in a designated portion of the map. In quadrants if there were four of them. That way zombies don't unfairly gang up on survivors, but are also more predictable for both sides.

    Or……

we give him a rocket launcher and make him more faithful to the source material.

Sounds like a nightmare in indoor maps... A zombie in every corridor and all you can decide is which one gets the free hit on you... As others pointed out you would need other ways to get rid of them, maybe some quick time event or struggle event so they turn into more of a game delay mechanic and tracking instead of necessarily a way to injure. I don't think we should focus on the Zombies but on the mechanics the killer has control over... But if it had to be Zombies making them into passive gameslowdown would be Allright, but we need to take care of the issues around indoor maps and zombies as well.

I would love another zombie or 2. At least on the bigger maps :)

So, you basically end up in the following scenario: Chasing 1 survivor being bloked by a zombie and other 3 are being hindered on their gens, so no progress possible at all. Great idea.

    That's a big NO.

Being able to push everyone of gens would be too powerful for a basekit.

But… making iri addon give one more zombie on a trial would be nice.

But there should also be some debuff for zombies, like 25% slower movement speed and 1-2m smaller detection range.

Haha as much as I love the idea of more zombies, it could never work. 2 is already an annoyance to survivors, can you imagine dropping 4-6 zombies? We would need to add more ways to fight the zombies imo.

As everyone else has mentioned, it would be an awesome game mode!

While 4 may be a bit much, especially for smaller/indoor maps, 3 zombies would be fine and honestly they could use an AI upgrade so they aren't allergic to hills.

Ever since the "Anti-3-gen" and subsequent multiple gen slowdown perks nerfs (including the upcoming nerfs to the last few slowdown perks in the next update) Nemesis has been a chore to play at a higher level without relying on.. less savory methods of playing. And a small buff to his passive, unreliable, rng slowdown would be a welcome addition.

They already move at 25 percent survivor speed. Lowering it any further is simply not necessary
