Is it just me or are a lot of people running boil over?
I've been seeing it everywhere today as both killer and survivor.

Dont worry, buffing all toolboxes with 20~50% bonus Sabo Speed Is 100% not the case.

I've been encountering this far more often for the past 2 months or so, ever since 7.6.0 when a bunch of weaker killers got buffs… and I'm not sure why...
All Boil Over ever does 95% of the time is annoy the killer... and if you're wanting to do that, using effective stuff like FTP+Buckle Up or Background Player or Plot Twist, Power Struggle, Flip Flop under pallets, Breakout... obviously some have been nerfed now, but almost anything would be better 🤨
I for 1 get far less chill playing against Boil Over... might as well be just giving me a wet willy or farting on my shoulder... it does nothing more than me make want to kill you as fast as possible…

I ran into a boilover sabbo squad on Midwitch a couple of nights ago, it wasn't terrible to deal with as they didn't get much value out of boilover, but that didn't make it any less annoying to deal with.

The increased sabo speeds + the new map = survivors enjoying being slugged to death.

Then complaining at you for slugging when you have no other gameplay options because they've never played the other side. They like to think they are clever and that they've gamed the system which in a way they have, with one exception. Doing something that is not allowed by the Survivors Rule Book ™. You are supposed to continually fail at hooking anyone while they giggle and laugh.
It's stuff like this (and other things) why I don't try on killer anymore. My rule is 2 hook everybody. If 3 generators have been completed before I can achieve this, everyone lives. If not, the best player lives and with the way matchmaking works and expects one veteran to carry three dead weights, this is usually extremely obvious. My rating basically tanks to a point where I can still get a challenge occasionally but survivors almost never try to do stuff like this and if they do, it is laughably bad attempts.

They can complain all they want. They weren't the one forced to watch them slowly die.
That's when a second monitor with Youtube can help.

I love this perk because watching the killer run into walls is peak content imo. Boil Over is also lowkey an amazing anti tunnel perk if you know where to go.
