These sabo toolbox buffs are kinda crazy and nobody is talking about them

Thats also the one that has me scared.
Alex's toolbox already had very limited counterplay. 100% seems waaay too overtuned to me.
I'm just hoping that it does not become too common.

I usually ignore you, because there is not really a point, but Killers complain about Gens being too fast and now the Devs provide alternatives to doing Gens (which are still not strong, it is totally overblown, like always when something on Survivor-side is buffed), but this is also not ok.
At this point you can just say that Survivors should just keep still and let the Killer hook them. If neither doing the Objective nor doing other things aside from it are ok for the Killer.

Players are allowed to complain that one side of the game has MULTIPLE PROBLEMS AT THE SAME TIME. There's no "killers are only allowed to complain about generator speed, or hook sabotages, but never both" gotcha argument here. Because with that logic, we can say "survivors are only allowed to complain about slugging, or hook camping, but never both" as a gotcha argument.

if you aren't here for a useful discussion you could've stated that way earlier so i wouldn't bother explaining my point to you with 3 replies.
+i'd rather survivors play normally than use (for example) 3rd party programs and mess with me
-he prefers genrushing!! -you probably

I simply dont understand why you are against Survivor-Killer-Interaction. Because this is what that is. Same with Flashlights. Just doing Gens and not interacting with the Killer or only as little as possible cannot really be the desired gameplay you want.
And if they throw Survivors a bone so that they try to do more sabotage (which is still weak, I wont change my mind on that) is a good thing.

"Testing" you realize a wiggle free isn't even a escape it's a 10-20 second delay of your capture tool boxes even with the buff are far cry from the effectiveness of a flash light. Period.
Your wasting gen speed (charges) on a hook your wasting repair time just to result in the killer dropping and chasing you instead now your in chase one is down and a third is most likely pulling away from objective to help the downed person all to basically turn the match into a Scooby Doo style chase as the whole team is buzzing around the hook as the killer switches from chasing one survivor to the next to protect their current investment (the downed person)
This is a "trap" update to get people off of gens why do you sabo isn't meta right now? It's just to much of hindrance on your whole team as it's just taking multiple people off the objective.

the point of a sabo play is either to let the other survivor wiggle (which is a result of killer mistake) or make the killer drop them; and now you can achieve that 100% of the time if you know what you are doing, for free. the argument isn't if that "achievement" is strong or not, issue is now you always get to do it w/o going down yourself.
if sabo gets its job done 100% of the time no matter what the killer does, it's problematic. but if the plan is to introduce sabo playstyle to the playerbase with those overblown buffs and nerf them back later eventually, i'd be down for it, sure.
also i actually don't want player interaction if it's some bs like ftp buckle up, a guaranteed sabo or a pallet save from someone halfway across the map.

You forget there's 4 survivors with only 1 needing to commit to hook breaks when avaliable, using an Alex's Toolbox to nearly guarantee a save in SoloQ and absolutely guarantee it with coordinated SWF while 2 others knock out gens.
And what, is the freed survivor just running into a deadzone after? No. They're doing loops to extend the chase another minute.

Remember when they nerfed medkits and killers complained about genrushing?

You said it was “strange” that there was no video evidence and just complaints about patch notes. This insinuates that it does not happen, whether that’s what you meant or not is moot.
There are other people on here defending a ridiculously strong change and acting like it’s insignificant. And I was going to make the video regardless, but needless to say it’s absurd what I did to that poor killer as a solo Queue and not very good survivor.

I remember genrush complaints alongside medkit complaints.

But thats the thing, you will only be able to get Survivors off Gens when you offer attractive side objectives. And while I think that Sabotage is weaker than BGP + Flashlight/Pallet Saves, there has to be an incentive to interact with the Killer.
Because otherwise there is not really a reason to get away from Generators at all.
And I guess Killers can survive when instead of hooking 100% of the Survivors they downed they only hook 98% of the Survivors they downed.

Alex's and Commodious are definitely overbuffed, Alex's doesn't have enough counterplay and Commodious is just too good at everything now, it has good repair speed, high amount of charges, and the second-best sabotage speed.
The other toolboxes + the changes to the addons I don't think are a problem though

I mean buffing Sabo times means that Survivor would be more willing to bring a Toolbox to Sabo Hooks rather then repairing Gens
So it's more give and take added to the game
Again for the sake of the OP…. buffing Sabo times just gives Survivors something else to think about while playing the game

"I'm just hoping that it does not become too common". Ftp/buckle up was broken and most players still wasn't using it. Hopefully that the case here as well. Obviously some swf's will make it impossible to ever hook anybody ever with this

In case that you run into these people, I have a fun build for you:
- bloodwarden
- franklins demise
- weaving attunement
- alien instinct
Make them suffer for their toolboxes.

🤣🤣🤣 bet! I'll give them hell

Their reasoning boiled down to 'They were used too much' or 'They were too easy to activate'.
Meanwhile, BHVR ignored all the survivor perks that are also "used too much" or are "too easy to activate" that you see a lot like Sprint Burst, Lithe, Adrenaline, etc.
2 -
All of the Exhaustion perks are currently in a good place.
Adrenaline was recently nerfed.

Buffing sabo will unfortunately only lead to more killers just bleeding survivors out on the ground I just dont think this was a good idea. Maybe they should give killers some kind of perk that allows hooks to respawn faster
1 -
In that it won't trigger if you're being carried or hooked and no longer wakes you up when it triggers.
As for Exhaustion perks, Killers just got a good counter to most of them save for Sprint Burst and Adrenaline in the form of Languid Touch.

I haven't tried it.
Is it effective?

There are a ton of crows scattered around the maps that people don't realize are there. The one change I would make would be to make it so that it only activates during a chase rather than happening any time someone scares a crow since it goes on CD for 20 seconds when it gets triggered.

Yo, I ended up having to work a 12 at my job so it’ll have to be tomorrow! 😭 I’ll make a general post for everyone to see and tag you and a few others there!

Damn, wish you a good night tho.

This will certainly kill the game for newbies thanks to bully squad, but in common matches the difference is rather small
You'll get sabo'd anyway when they reach earlier, and you'll get sabo'd anyway too when you are forced to hit them. the sabotage was pretty much guaranteed to success as long as they had health state
1 -
As someone who plays Legion a lot, I see so many players who 99 their Sprintburst into Lythe while waiting for me to go into my power, it is extremely annoying that sprint burst is faster than feral frenzie.

If hook sabo only work if its a hook trade, I would use FTP and Buckleup. Much easier to do.
1 -
Yeah, haven't really faced any saboing yet, but those are my impressions as well.
0 -
Rather odd isn't it, survs hate being slugged, but yet will try to remove a way that prevents slugging.
2 -
It is quite funny, most killer, including myself, try not to play in ways that will get them yelled at in the post-game, yet it's fine for survivors to be complete jackasses because its all "just a fun game, why u so mad bruh?" or "Why is the killer bringing Lightborn+Franklins?" Gee I wonder why…when a killer loads in sees 2-3 toolboxes a flashlight and possibly a medkit. and Survivors playing super altruistic/hookbombing because gens just fly by and the best regression perks were hit hard with the nerf bat. T_T
