Is "Distressing" useful on any killer other than doctor?
Title.
I see the usefulness for doctor to have a static shock that reach even further, but as a general rule, i think it hinders you, other than the juicy BP bonus.

I normally run Distressing and Hex: Thrill of the Hunt for the Bloodpoint Bonus on Killers that need it if there is a Bloodpoint event active (e.g. Plague, Myers, etc.).
There are also Killers where the increased Terror Radius. quite literally does nothing so you just get a flat increase to Bloodpoint Scores (e.g. Wraith, Freddy, etc.).
Even on Killers that dont need it, it means I can just farm Bloodpoints while turning my brain off which isnt that bad tbh.
The increased Terror Radius is kinda bad on a most Killers, but the Bloodpoint Bonus is not as bad as people make it out to be, it definitely isnt as good as old BBQ but it's the closest youll get.

I mean it gets usefull in every build specialized on skill checks aswell as starstruck.
For startstruck is wesker probably the best choice alone because of the fact you can use his ability as movement to get to the exposed survivors quicker. Besides that he slows survivors and has a huge terror radius xD
Well for skill checks it's doctor obviously.
You could also use it on legion because his detection gets bigger with bigger terror radius as far as I remember (I think it's not worth it, you probably won't reach people you detect because of this, but I guess you have more information xD)

I use it on a Legion meme build to extend their terror radius theme across the entire map. Can be surprisingly effective against Survivors that are new to the game, since they tend to hate being in the Killer's terror radius. On an indoor map, they'll think you're close by the entire trial even if you're not.
With Susie's mix tape and the Never-Sleep Pills, you might be able to reach those far away survivors revealed by killer instinct, but I haven't personally given this build a try. Might be fun to test some day. But yeah, it is very good info regardless.

Mhh don't know, I don't play legion enough to say if it's possible to reach them with that xD
But yes, some survivors absolutely hate being in terror radius xD

Wesker can get use out of it when paired with other terror radius perks.
Distressing makes his terror radius 50m so add something like Coulrophobia on a small map like Midwich and you’ve got an almost map wide healing slowdown.

It was on the roadmap to be changed a while ago but I think they decided not to change it which is unfortunate.

Wesker
I also like to use Distressing with my Bone Clapper+The Beast Soot build for Wraith

I've wondered how far you can push TR to the point it becomes like a quasi stealth perk... after all if you always hear it, does the terror radius really give away your position?
I have used Myers before with M&A and Rabbit, with Coulrophobia and Infectious Fright to make my t3 while in chase a little nuttier... I might throw Distressing on as well for giggles xD

I used Distressing on wesker/Wraith for impossible healing
Wesker is just the better killer to do it with but Wraith was the OG with his Beast Soot add-on.

Aside from Doctor the only other killer it's worth using on is Wesker, and even then you'll need to put on other terror radius perks too. I like using Distressing and Coulrophobia on Doc and Wesker, usually adding in Sloppy as well.

Thinking outside the box, an extremely large TR can actually confuse survivors about how close you are. Particularly on the Game or Midwich, if you always sound "close", it becomes very hard to tell when you're actually coming for them.

Coulrophobia, Unnerving Presence, Starstruck, Infectious Fright and the new Vecna perk if I remember correctly all benefit from this.
Doctor and Legion also benefit.
Also, Plague's Inscense Ointment add-on benefits from this.

If I recall, it was useful for that >48m Doctor rift challenge.

A Wesker with Distressing, Unnerving Presence, Coulrophobia, and Merciless Storm can ruin your day with a Midwich offering and Iri Vial plus the green that speeds up infection rate.
You'll almost never not be in his TR, and you'll need to go out of your way to deal with infection more often and earlier.

Use Beast of Prey instead of Thrill. It's not a totem so survivors can't break it.

It can be used to play mind games with survivor on Wesker; his terror radius is already the largest in the game and making it larger can make it hard for survivors to figure out if you are genuinely close or not.
Plus it means he can get more mileage out of perks like Starstruck.

I sometimes stack Beast of Prey with Hex: Thrill of the Hunt.

Me too but if I'm only picking one, it's going to be the one that can't be destroyed. It also decreases by 10% for any other cleansed totems.

I think a solid argument could be made for Hex: Thrill of the Hunt here since Beast of Prey completely removed the ability to mindgame which can just mess with the gameflow and result in less Bloodpoints.

I want to say Skull Merchant, there is a build for it, but it's hard to gauge its usability with how most people act when against a Skull Merchant.
Myer's when paired with Dead Rabbit and Infinte Tier 3.

I personally enjoy: Distressing + Unnerving Presence
