Can the new map BE ANY DAREKR?????
First, you try to deafen and gut your players' hearing with all the utterly unnecessary loud noises, such as character screams and so on, then you take a red as hell map and make it so dark that the only thing you can discern is the damn moon. I don't even want to imagine how horrendous it will be to play against Dredge on this map. It's having chronic Lights Out.

Personally I love the darker maps, makes it look like a real horror game.

I actually considered using filters the first time playing the changed borgo map because it was to dark and everything was in the same color tone.

I love the new look of borgo personally. It's dark but that's a good thing. It feels desolate. It's improved both the vibes of the map AND the gameplay aspects.

Same. I prefer the new borgo to all the red but playing on that map is just one step above dredges darkness. I had no clue where I was going and running into walls and obstacles

DBD is a horror game (at least it’s meant to be one) so naturally the environment will be dark. Filters are an option if you’re on PC, or you can adjust brightness settings on your monitor/TV.
Even though I liked red Borgo, the new Borgo is amazing and I love how gloomy it is.

This game might be advertised as a "horror" game but let's be real, nothing about this game is "scary".
The only thing that might be terrifying is the actual prospect of getting tinnitus as a gamer with a headset on. I love being able to see more than having a mediocre map that only thanks its "scariness" to how dark it is. What a joke. If that wasn't enough BHVR added double pallets to it as well, wonderful map, truly.

You know what would make it a real horror game? Adding actual elements of horror, not just awfully dark lighting. I'll take being able to see, without becoming a recluse who has to sit in a dark AF room just so I can see over any "horror" elements this game pretends to offer. It's a game about staring at a progression bar on gens, running around bushes and pallets, there's nothing "scary" about it.

Darkening the maps helps. The corn maps and the erie of crows sucks out any tension from the game outside a few stealth killers.

That's a bit of an extreme comparison. If you look at Azarov's that one is dark as well but you can at least see things on it. I'm going to agree to disagree with you. I've come to hate the new map with a passion. From its awful lighting to the its ridiculously massive basement with just 2 hooks and a portal?? I hate it. I'll take old RPD with infinite library any day.

I think it's valid to hate the map for sure, but not for it's lighting.

And you're the judge to decide what's valid and what's not? Who the hell do you think you are?! The nerve on some.

Didn't you have similar things to say in your opening? I just think the lighting is the least of that map's concerns.
