When is Freddy getting attention?

Freddy has got to be one of the most boring killers, and BHVR said they were looking into him. When is a change gonna actually happen? It doesn't take much to see all the problems Freddy has, power-wise and gameplay-wise. The only change he's gotten somewhat recently was an addon change, which made two addons actually usable, but nothing else. BHVR needs to hurry with whatever they change about him and hopefully make him actually feel like Freddy Krueger and not Sharp Hand Joe.

I heard rumors about a potential new movie that might have Robert Englund reprising his role so maybe a skin could happen at least but the movie isn't confirmed so idk

People having trouble playing Freddy have a skill issue. He used to be a top tier killer when he came out and is still very effective and has had buffs in the past. You didn't used to glow white in the dream state. I think the devs came out with these training wheel killers with 7 built-in abilities and people playing killer no longer had to learn how to play. So killers like Trapper, Doctor, Nurse, Freddy and Wraith seem hard and underpowered.

First of all when Freddy released he was the weakest killer in the game because his only power was waiting 7 seconds to be able to hit someone and all a survivor had to do was miss a skill check on ANYTHING and they'd wake up, then he got hit with a bunch of nerfs because survivors complained and review bombed him because they didn't bother learning the incredibly easy counter to his power.

Second Freddy is not VERY effective, he's not useless and I will leave it at that.

If you try to bring up his teleport please remember that he has the worst one in the game. You can't even use it anymore after the last gen pops and can't use it in general on completed gens.

Also his last and ONLY buff was in patch 3.2.0 which was only adding oblivious to the dream world. Everything before his rework and everything after 3.2.0 was nerfs and QoL changes.
