Matchmaking with friends
Does anyone know how to end up in the same match as your online friend, while one is killer and other is survivor?

You can't. Queuing up together is only possible if you're all playing the same role, or if you go into a Custom game mode.

As far as I know, if you are on each other's friends list, you cannot be matched by any means if both are in a different role. You can still queue up together as Survivor, though, by inviting each other into the lobby. You'd have to unfriend each other and just hope for the best. But the odds of that happening are probably extremely low.

Technically it is possible (stream sniping is possible too after all) but you shouldn't do it. Killer and survivors working together is a reason for a report. If you want to play against your friend as a killer, you can always go into a custom game with them.

You can be unfortunately, I was matched with two friends over just two weeks when I queued for Killer. It also happened to me once several months ago.

That's possible. But queue times are notoriously long with cross play off so even if you guys do get a lobby together you might be waiting awhile for a match.

Interesting. I did once get matched with a friend, but we were both on Survivor.
Just a one in a [high number] chance. Since it also takes into account ones MMR.0 -
It is possible, but its very low chance. Especially if you're in a high population area.
Better to go into kill your friends.

So I should delete all my friends then, since those are all people who made my games a bit better. And I should try adding people I don't like? Odd system
