Happy Anniversary everyone! Every year around this time we celebrate the amazing labor of love that is Dead by Daylight.

We always hear from the Devs about how grateful they are, so let’s flip the script!

As players what message of thanks would you like to give the developers?

First off, thank you to everyone on the Dbd team: Everything you all have created has been one of the best horror experiences of my entire life. Being with the team through most of the development and surprises has been an absolute pleasure and continues to be a pleasure.

I have to give a personal shout out to the color team. You all really take my breath away with some of the palette choices you all use. The synesthesia I experience from the color choices are always so satisfying. You all really take me to a different world with how masterfully you all wield color.

I’m looking forward to anything and everything that comes next. Thank you Behavior, thank you to every single employee for sharing your vision through this game with all of us. Thank you for listening to player feedback and incorporating some of the community decisions into the game, it really feels like a game that reflects all of us. You all are the best. It’s been an absolute joy and pleasure to experience all of your hard work.

You all are the best. I am sincerely thankful for all of you ☺️🎉

BHVR is full of a lot of talented individuals that do make some really cool stuff, glad to be here and apart of the community for another year, and hopefully more to come.

Can we unlock Tryx? Like the old game? She seem's cool! (I know we can't)

    This event is pretty fun.

A big BOOP especially for the amazing Pig cosmetic.

Pig never had this much bling bling on her fingers.

Despite all my complaints, it's still my favorite game and it wouldn't be possible without the devs and their hard work. Adding my appreciation here

Much love to you folks. This game has come a long way. I literally bought this on the very first day on PS4 and had no idea what to expect. I believe there was just 5 killers then and rumors of a Halloween chapter. I think PC may have already had the Halloween chapter. I knew nothing about dbd but had read of it on a Friday the 13th forum. I was unemployed and unemployable at the time, so I became fixated on this game, lest I find a job. Omg, I did so many dumb things early on as I had no idea what was going on and why. I read the directions but not real thoroughly.

I quickly fell in love. Even before understanding the game this happened. I knew something unique and brilliant was unfolding in this realm. As a lifelong fan of horror, this is what I always wanted in a videogame. 7 years later....7 years...and 6000 hours later and here I remain.

I used to love the original call of duty-modern warfare 2. I watched it slowly fall into disrepair due to hackers. I never thought anything could replace the passion I had for that game. In comes bhvr...I sincerely mean this. I am so grateful for all your hard work. I encourage others to support this game by purchasing cosmetics. I can easily see another 10 years for this wondrous creation.

I have invested approximately 2000 dollars into this game. I love it. I am at a financial low point right now but I plan on a spending spree on this game when I get out of my current circumstances. I love you folks. May God bless you and yours. Happy Anniversary.

I absolutely loved the concept art for Pig's anniversary cosmetic. However the in game one is a bit too vibrant and bright for me.

The concept art was more subtle with the colors and felt more gritty and matched the atmosphere of the game better. Meanwhile the in game cosmetic is very bright; the blues red and yellows all stick out way too much for my liking. Kind of wish BHVR could make skins come with alternate variations so when you buy a skin you actually get 2. For example, you get a second version with slightly different colors or for survivor cosmetics you get a version without a backpack if there is one.

Its a shame because I was so excited to buy this cosmetic for her but now I kind of just want to pass on it.

That's understandable. Nobody has to like anything.

I personally am most hype about the blade. It will look amazing on my usual cosmetic mixup.

Thank you for providing a fun game and amazing community for us all to come together to celebrate, complain, and commiserate. Thank you for listening (even if there's some folks I wish you wouldn't listen to so much 🤣) and showing that you do care about providing the best experience possible for us all, despite knowing you can't please everyone all the time. Thank you for all the freebies and events/modifiers and frequent updates that you no doubt put your heart, time, and energy into.

And a special thank you to Kenneth from Support for coming through for me during that Alchemy Lab banner run around I received

    Happy anniversary 🎉

I have a stronger passion for this game and community than any other entertainment media in my life so far (25yrs). No regrets playing this through most of highschool and all of college. Currently playing on my free time while working on my masters. Thanks devs :) especially for bringing Resident Evil!
