Chucky's power recharge is not a bug.

This is not a bug. this feature has been in the game ever since his release. The character is 4.4 m/s and almost entirely relies on his ability. A killer that also has this feature is the Nurse who recharges power-tokens during her fatigue. Chucky lost his ability to scamper for this power recharge change.

    Man, they keep giving him sudden nerfs and then calling them bug fixes. I'm still more salty over Scamper Vault being removed tbh, there was no reason for that. This is fine, but it's insulting that they change these two add-ons while leaving all of the Scamper ones they gutted untouched.

    they changed the rules for scamper. previously, chucky could manually scamper. Now it is only in ability. They simply forget to change the rule for windows after changing it for pallets. This changes makes sense and aligns with the change.

    The cooldown change DOES NOT make sense because the entire goal of this change was to reduce chucky's power cooldown. He doesn't have power-recovery add-on like Spirit. The cooldown always started at the start of his dash meaning he had 15 second cooldown. Now he has somewhere between 8-10 second cooldown allowing Chucky to his power for mobility and go for risky hit plays. The change they are planning will ruin Chucky if it gets implemented.

    Well, it seems BHVR meddled with the cosmic forces too much when they stopped nerfing Pig. Now it has to be Chucky instead. This is brutal. First they take away flicks, then scamper, now they nerf the addons and also work on a nerf to his cooldown. Thanks, devs. For a moment I thought I might play him again just for the 12 seconds cooldown. But after seeing this, I don't think so.

    Well, the "Nerf Pig" meme would get old one day. And that day has come.

    No more "nerf Pig", now only "nerf Chucky".

    I know why they removed Scamper Vault, that doesn't mean it made sense. Scamper Pallet needed to go because it broke the way loops are designed and Chucky could guarantee hits easily with it, Scamper Vault was a quieter vault. It was the only way to do double vault back mindgames with Chucky, and now that skill expression is removed because a largely unrelated ability happens to share it's name. It wasn't an issue, and having the regular vault during hidey ho actually conflicts with him being stealthier during power since it plays a vault noise. As well, it isn't necessarily like Scamper Vault is useful when attached to slice and dice. What good is a quieter vault when 2 foot tall Danny Devito is screaming his bloody lungs out, y'know? I completely understand why Scampering manually under pallets needed to go, but doing the same to vaults completely ignored the reason they were implemented in the first place.

    The cooldown for power being 12 seconds is actually relatively balanced give how versatile the power is imo. I would glad take this change in exchange for some of his stealthier aspects returning. Plus, once the change goes through and the addon is reverted, Power Drill puts the cooldown at 10.2 seconds. That's fine with me, especially since currently Chucky just feels like Slice and Dice the killer and a shorter cooldowns just makes that more true. Getting power back faster after dash just makes you want to dash more, instead of taking advantage of undetectable.

    as a player, i have already accepted that Scamper is no longer part of the kit but I can at least enjoy my shorter cooldown. if their change goes through, you get neither benefits.

    What does BhVR have against Chucky? If you hate him so much, why did you implement him as a collaborator?
