Please, make a mid update and make remote hooks to activate two seconds after picking up a survivor
Currently remote hooks deny a lot of playstyles and survivor perks.
You can't flishlight saves, pallet saves, sabo, power struggle and it makes tunneling even easier because there's nothing that stops the killer for hooking you.
Honestly, remote hooks are taking the fun out of this event.

Considering random events and abilities taking things away from killers too, it'd be "fair" as in both side lost bunch of things
Whether it's fun or not is in mystery, personally I don't feel problem especially when it's a limited event

Idk what things takes away from killers. There's perks to counter the survivors abilities like endurance and hubris, remote hooks can't be countered by nothing.

Heal and exposed kills any hit and run or slugging, window block kills any window related perks, silence kills sound based tracking and quite frankly spirit, Hell I believe "everyone scream" can drop survivors when killer carrying them?
Pallet summoning can also takes away "free hits" from killers in pretty much everywhere, they will always buy more time no matter what
And there s perks to counter remote hooks if you consider endurance or hubris a "counter", it's called chase perks because it doesn't matter if you don't get down anyway

Heal and exposed is just a health state and still survivor can be down by a single hit. Pary pallets can be, like I said, countered by simple mind games and perks like enduring. Remote hooks doesn't really have a counter and denies a lot of perks, even DS. Reason why so many killers are tunneling.

There is a reason why most of the time survivor has a 150% BP to event most people rather have fun playing killer. Survivors get trash abilities and cant gen rush to get their BP.

If you seriously think 30 second exposed is a serious matter, especially in four man getting it's effect, that's kinda ridiculous
forgot to mention but stealth mode is also extremely favoring survivor, undetectable on killer is no big deal, no scratch marks effectively makes tracking impossible
Just because remote hook being relatively on stronger side, doesn't mean overall favoring killers
Also it's rather likely all that "problem" mainly come from lags, rather than system

Again, survivors abilities can be easily countered, remote hooks not. It doesn't matter if you blind the killer, drop a pallet or hit the skill check of DS, you gonna get hooked because remote hooks denies all of that.
And if you didn't know, quiet mode doesn't hide scrath marks

On Sprinwood, using the 'remote hook', the killer can hook you directly from outside to the basement, 2 floors below ! Such a non-sense thing…

What I just noticed is that survivors need to learn to not just swarm the hook or downed person. I can snowball really fast with the Bluetooth hook, because they don't have the time to heal up or get into position.

The other day I had a Spirit tunnel me. I DS-ed her, and she recovered super fast, because of the event's "enduring killer ability". I don't think that should work on decisive strike.

DS is bugged regardless the event. On some killers the stun duration is less than others.
Is not a good time to play survivor lmao, that's why I'm only on killer right now.

You can still flashlight save before the remote hook, it just takes better timing. Same with DS if the skill check comes early enough.
