Petittion: remove matchmaking malus for disconnecting

I am sick of this. I really am.

I understand that when there were no bots around, this was the only way to keep survivors in the game and make it so that the remaining players would not be penalised having one less teammate to complete the run with.

But now, with bots being part of the game, it is ridiculously pointless.

Just today I was queuing for a match when my doorbell rang. I forgot to de-select "ready" on the lobby and a match took place during my absence. Needless to say, I got penalised for that with minutes of waiting. Knowing that there is a lifetime ban down the line at some point adds an overwhelming amount of dread, as such instances make you fear that you will lose all your precious progress (and money) if such stuff keeps on happening.

Please, do away with the penalisation. We are all grown-ups who have real life stuff to deal with - kids, parents and other responsibilities may force us to abandon a game mid-session and we should never be penalised for that.

penalties should be applied to people who continue to DC on the daily, that way it should only impact those who are repeats offenders

This is how it works, the first penalty is a laughable 1 minute and the penalties do decay over time. So if you are hitting huge lockout timers, you are d/cing too much.

There is no permanent ban for disconnecting or leaving games.

Unless you're disconnecting multiple times a day, you won't receive more than 5 or 15 minutes at a time.

The penalty is still necessary, even with bots, because without it players will quit the moment they start to lose. No one wants to play every game against four bots, and if it's the killer DCing, then you will never escape.
