You don't have to draw a 10 meter path for breaks even if the survivor greeds the pallet you can cancel the summon and get a hit you aren't required to commit to the summon nor the 10 meter path

Assassin ain't getting guaranteed hits on gen even pre patch he doesn't get them enough to be considered a guaranteed.
But being a fan of knight I will say these changes will just push him to being even more unfun to play as or against if it goes live

DESERVED nerf. I’ve played Knight. He’s fun. Have you played against one? It’s the most miserable experience ever second only to Skull Merchant. Tunnels across the board.

thank god he was nerfed. Guess the knight players will have to develope another strat that isnt just dropping a guard at loop, yipeee!

I'm fine with the unfun parts being nerfed but a low tier killer shouldn't be nerfed as a whole. I truly believe that knight going to be a even wrost killer than he is now. Right now he barely a C tier killer and if these changes go through he definitely will drop down to D tier. This isn't something that should be celebrated by anyone. It's not like knight is a nurse, Wesker, or blight.

Any Killer who forces Survivor players to not loop like they're looping a M1/M2 Killer with lunge/projectiles gets criticized. Blight and Nurse are noteworthy examples.
Knight is probably the best Killer to get a hit at Shack regardless of whether the pallet is dropped, even detaching from Shack is difficult if his Guard is placed correctly. I guess players don't like that.1 -
True, it’s just that Nurse and Blight FEEL like they require skill even if they actually don’t. I get your point about not nerfing him since he’s low tier. There’s very little counter play against knight, which makes him frustrating to play against. Can’t mind game an AI I guess is what I’m trying to get across.

So that's not completely true. Yeah you can't mind game AI but the knights guards have some of the worst patching and AI in general. For example if you touch a vault spot but don't vault the guard will go that that vault and act like you did vault before it continue to chasing you. This buys so much time and distance that any of the three guards will not catch you. One top of that there's always the banner that most ppl can easily double back for and get. Of. This is assuming the knight isn't working with his guards which is where this change is pushing for since chasing with your guard in the PTB tomorrow will make the hunt timer go down faster.
The issue is that guards as a power overall sucks bc by themselves they will not do much if anything and the AI patching is so bad. Imagine if zombies was nemmy's only power, that is what knight is. His power is dependent on ######### AI and you the player has no agency over it. Knight is a M1 killer who power is held back by ######### coding and bugs.

If you had survivors complaining about seeing specific killer all the time (Wesker), it would make sense to increase pick rate for a killer, who is overall popular in the community on both sides, no?

Honestly, I'm calling this a big fat nerf UNLESS they also updated the AI. The AI's a ######### joke and was only useful in pincer attacks because the survivor couldn't just run back into the guard without taking a hit. The fact they lose hunt three times faster if I'm nearby is stupid unless the AI is capable of actually ######### doing something in a chase. I don't even care if they simply make it so every failed hunt increases the guard's hunt running speed by .5%, but something is needed or the guards become more of a joke than old freddy.

Im honestly getting hits with assasin fairly often.
And in order for the time to get 3 times faster you have to be within 8 meters of the guard. Which is pretty ######### close. A "larger pincer" anticipating to where the guard is leading the survivor, should still be possible. We´ll see i guess.

Yeah right now that's what usually happens but with the changes the knight isn't going to be able to stay near his guard. In the update if he 8m near a hurting guard the hunt meter will go down 3x faster. This tells me the devs want you to use guards in a way where you chase two survivors at the same time. On paper that sounds amazing right? But guard are way too inconsistent when left alone. Their patching is necrosis, they can trick into thinking a survivor vaulted when they didn't, and the banner spawns pretty quickly and can easily be grabbed in the survivor is left alone with the guard. Meanwhile the knight is left as a weak m1 killer with no anti loop when his guard is out hunting. So who ever the person the knight is chasing just has to deal with a m1 killer which is pretty easy for most experienced survivors.
The only anti loop power knight really has going forward with this update is the Carnflex where he can have him break a pallet immediately after it drop to get a guaranteed hit. The issue with this is that it really completely gets nerfed eventually since we already seen two killer with similar powers get some kinda nerf to this type of power (Lich's Mage Hand and Old Chucky).

SurvivorSurvivors enjoyed Billy because his experience for survivors was interactive and you can easily loop him while he could instadown, he was garbage on most maps and was clunky for killer but fun for survivors.

They still make several chases along the guard, have more flexibility with the guard control and performs overall well.
Can you elaborate a little?

I suppose I should be grateful that I was always a Nurses+Monitor Knight so the range limit doesn't really bother me
