Let Ash Talk in Trials
As the first survivor to have dialogue, I’m surprised Ash still isn’t allowed to talk in trials.
Nic Cage and now Lara Croft can speak in the trials, so it’s not impossible.
Ash has perfect dialogue for the trials (“Not the face, NOT THE FACE!”, “After I specifically asked not to be impaled through the chest!”, “Need a little help there, junior?”), yet he only says them in the lobby.
Please consider giving Ash lines in the trial.

I agree, as an Ash enjoyer, I too would like to hear his voice lines in the trials. It would add more comedic effect into an already fun game.

They might have to bring in bruce campbell for more voicelines though which u have to wonder if hes up for that anymore since his last lines were for the rift outfit

As long as they integrate an option to turn off voicelines I am fine with that... But otherwise I don't think all that chatter helps much to keep track of a survivor or killer during chase...

I agree, do it bhvr.

Bruce has said he will keep voicing Ash, and I think if he was willing to come back for the rift cosmetic lines, he would be down to come in again to read some lines for the trial. Or if he doesn’t want to for whatever reason, I pointed out that there’s already a few lines from the rift cosmetic that work in the trial.

I think the only reason we don’t have a “turn off survivor dialogue” option is because the only player who can hear the survivor dialogue is the person playing as that survivor. So if you don’t wanna hear Nic Cage yelling at the crows, you just don’t play Nic Cage. (Maybe I’m wrong on that. I know the Killer can’t hear the survivor dialogue.)
And I get that eventually it can get grating to hear the same lines over and over (I know that’s why people found Ash annoying), but I feel like the trial lines are diverse and sparse enough that they take way longer to become obnoxious.
I’m not opposed to having the option to turn off survivor commentary, some people prefer to have characters who are quiet so they can listen. But at the same time, there’s already a huge roster of characters who don’t speak, so you can play as them instead.1
