It's time to remove perk tiers entirely...
There's no reason for them to still exist. The grind is getting worse every single year. It's gotta be such a burden nowadays to be a beginner in this game.

I dont think the grind is that bad anymore. Getting Perks on Characters is now way faster, there are more BPs, Bloodweb-Items cost even less BPs and there are promotions and weekly gifts.

I agree, but I also think the update that made prestiging characters automatically distribute their perks across everyone, and P3 giving everyone the perk at max level, helped quite a lot with this.
Of course, this game is a wretched nightmare to pick up as a new player, but that was already the case with the hundreds of dollars worth of DLCs and iri shards being such a slow grind.

While we are at it can we please have a "spend all" option so i don't have to sit there spamming the bloodweb button for every single level

I’ve always thought it was a stupid system because it limits you to one perk colour let me customize the perk colours with any available colour in the game

I agree, but grinding is not even bad anymore, bhvr is giving tons and tons of shards/bps for free and every single character Costs half of the price too

Less bad does not mean good, and he is right with the reasoning, perk tiers don't really serve a purpose...

It still takes ages to spend the BP and the new player experience sucks, as there are just too many things to unlucky before you get something decent or variety in play.

An in-depth QOL improvement update for the bloodweb would be good. Having multiple different options on what you want to do with it.

I'd love for them to remove perk tiers but it's not gonna happen. They WANT there to be a longer grind, not to mention the first 3 prestige levels are tied to the 3 tiers and I can't see them changing that.

The grind will exist as long as addons, items, offerings and so on need to be bought... They can just outsource the grind towards getting characters p100 baiting people with cosmetics or something instead of limiting the playbability for new players.

The last time I remember the devs discussing it, they said something along the lines of it being nearly impossible to do so without having to rewrite a bunch of the game and/or causing a ton of unrelated bugs in the process. Hence, they went with the P1/2/3 = that level of perks on all characters solution instead to the hellgrind.

yes. it is because every single perk is an object in the game. this game has 264 perks. 264 perk x 3 level is 794 objects. it would take them ages to delete. they'd spend a long time to delete and rewrite code. the levels are also closely link to blood-web so they have to rewrite the blood web code as well.
