Getting real sick of Freddy

It really sucks because Freddy is one of my favorite horror characters but idk if I can keep playing him currently. His kit is super limited, the gameplay is repetitive it just feels like "Why didn't my power work on them?! ..Oh, right..Darn." or "Ha they ran in the puddle! They still made it to the pallet/window, darn." and even "Alright got all my dream pallets set up can't wait to trick people…oh, someone's running around getting rid of all my pallets, darn" almost every game. At low mmr Freddy is alright because people don't know his easy counters but at higher mmr you go against people who know how to counter Freddy and wake themselves up before you get the chance to use your power on them, not to mention his addons are almost useless. I wanna keep playing Freddy because I like Freddy Krueger but it's just so difficult when he's this boring and weak, if Freddy doesn't get a rework sometime this year I'm convinced BHVR simply doesn't care about Freddy.
