Doctor should not be able to cancel the unhook action with his Shock Therapy
Simple as that. It's a very dumb mechanic.

As much Love I have for Herman the Doctor, this user is correct, its absolutely a pro-camping that the Doctor is able to do this.
Doctor should be able to shock all other actions sure, but Unhooking??? Nah Come on bHVR, you gotta fix that.

Preach. There's already an exception for unhooking in Madness 3 and we've moved away from unhook denial in general with the removal of hook grabs, anti-camping, and many killers not being able to use their power near occupied hooks. This is clearly a relic.
Like, under normal gameplay this would just let Doctor get a free hit and that's not a problem, but with the right addons Herman can sit at the edge of the anticamp and essentially shock a hooked survivor to death. Bad gameplay.

I don't think it's problematic in any way due to very strict nature of it, but camping with him is counter productive anyway, it would be better for newbies doctor to remove this

If you dodge one shock then you can unhook. It's not a big deal.

Like the other users said, you can dodge it. As soon as you dodge one, you can unhook. No change needed.

I was originally going to say it isn't a big issue and I still feel that way but I also think that goes both ways. It isn't a big problem for Doctor if the shock don't interrupt unhooks either. I think this is a case where BHVR can throw the survivors a bone. If Doctor isn't playing like a jerk then it won't even be noticed.
