Are the changes to the knight is a nerf or buff?

Well what I read from everyone is that the knight is nerfed. Apparently pillaged meat isn't a buff since it shortens the time to break a generator thus the survivor can repair it earlier. You got no dried horsemeat, call to arms and map of the realm basekit. You got a bug that got turned into a feature which helps survivors. You got that insane depletion rate. I think I forgot something but that's pretty much it.

Overall nerf. A nerf to his most viable strat (I use viable very loosely here) and a buff to his weakest strat but it’s still weak and unviable.

As an addition, pillaged mead also make you break pallet faster. For carnifex is 0.2 sec wich is almos nothing, but other 2 blocked that pallet 6 seconds that allowed you to block a path from far away if did correctly. Now is 5 seconds.
Not that is a big deal but is a meh change. Not a buff not really a nerf, but i would say slight nerf but almost nothing.
And in general i would say nerf.
If you send jailor thats 24 seconds with no power.
+ 8 seconds Tabbard addon (wich is mostly detrimental)
Then jailer fin someone and chase 36 seconds.
In theory you could be up to 68 seconds without power.
If you could cancel your power summoning a new guard. tabard become a decent addon and you have control on your power.

I'd say it evens out. He'll play a bit differently but his strength will remain around the same.

Nerf, I am really annoyed they didn't keep summoning guards at all times, that was so good to use.
Suddenly long path Jailer means you are out of your power for a long time with low chance for hit...
