You heard of Franklin's Weave Vecna.

But have you heard of this:

I assume most people have as Demi and CoconutRTS are making videos on the combo. It's pretty insane if your already having troubles with countering Franklin's and Weave attunement. Just slapping a trap with mint rag applied for added measure just gives immense rage . It's probably the only build I can see getting this combo nerfed. So I guess people can be the judge. Those who have tried this how does it feel? Personally I don't like hag that much but it might be worth a shot.

Hag is a really underrated killer, survivors used to rage on me because I would set my mouse wheel as my teleport and scroll it the entire time I'm playing so if a trap ever went off I was instantly there for a hit before they could react with the camera jerk her traps have lol, but that's a really nasty build on her if I was going for more salt though I would switch corrupt out with make your choice and really give them something to get upset about when you have mint rag with it.

It's even funnier if the item happens to be dropped near a hook or gen. Easiest gengrabs and hook stops I have ever seen.

Hag is pretty versatile, she can have so many different type of power with these add-on, teleportation on command, teleporting if a trap is actif or without notification for survivor (one of my favorite), she can block some path,…

Okay, Hoarder + Corrupt with Weave is pretty hilarious. I'm going to try that now just for the funsies.

Mint Rag, on the other hand, is pretty damn nasty here. I think the only way you'd be able to even pick up your items and move them (so, Weave counterplay) is when she's carrying people, and it's not like you can hide nearby and prep to move in the meantime. The silent teleports are just the icing on the meanness cake.

Though I'd hate to see actually interesting perks and addons nerfed because they synergize like this. I've always enjoyed the array of unique addons Hag has. So I hope there's a way to break the synergy without ruining Weave Attunement or Mint Rag.

It’s meme’y and funny, but not practically good. I don’t see why it would get nerfed. Hag isn’t even that good.

Ah, yes, I will just travel back in time to the match loading screen and unselect my item, and maybe un-open my teammate's chest while I'm at it, when I discover I'm going up against the rarest killer in the game running a very busted troll build, who can choose that build when she sees 4 items in a lobby and choose something else if she doesn't see items.

This is as feasible as when people tell you to bring different perks to counter some bizarre and rare-to-encounter strat. It's not counterplay if you can't enact it in the match itself.

I'm perfectly fine with Franklins + Weave because it has counterplay. This strategy does not have counterplay beyond 'don't ever get hit.' And the Hag doesn't need Hoarder or Corrupt to do this - those are more lols than anything. Franklins + Weave + Mint Rag + Shackles is plenty nasty on its own with two proper match support perks (probably gen regression, though she may run Corrupt anyway because Hag.)

Skill issue is using item? Lol

I think skill issue is not knowing what an addon does.

That's rich coming from someone whom damn near every post they've made has demonstrated a consistent lack of understanding how things work in this game. Like. You were the one talking about how Babysitter was so unfair it was going to make killers stop playing, and then backtracked hard into "well that's just what other players think but not me" when everyone went "uh, no?" Or how Iron Will wasn't a problem because they changed Stridor. And now this with trying to grandstand to cover up that you didn't know how Hag's addons work. Personally I think you could stand to do a little more research before making claims. Or be less invective when you're making those claims. One or the other.

And if you actually read my posts in this thread, you'd notice I already said I don't want them to do that. Or that I don't think Franklins + Weave is a problem.

I didn't know people were calling it Franklin's Weave. That's a pretty good name lmao.

Seriously, this whole debate about a perk combo like this, is just ridiculous. A lot of Survivors get upset over every little thing. Anyway, they'll have to settle for POP Painress and co again..... this will never end and is rly annoying.

Didn't even think about this combo with Mint Rag, almost no one plays Hag and even when I do see a Hag, Mint Rag is super rare.

Honestly, yeah, this combo seems pretty insane. Normally I don't really have a problem with Franklins + Weave because it can be countered by picking up and/or moving the item to a corner or other place where the aura reading value is minimal. But Mint Rag in theory shuts that down completely, barring Distortion or some other aura-blocking perk that could potentially give you enough time to go in and get the item and/or remove the trap safely.

Alright this is a good argument against the combo, I will say.

The only counterplay I can think of is avoiding your items like the plague, which isn't viable near gens.

The game will warn you if the perk is in play and actively revealing your aura.

I usually either avoid using the item, or I pick it up and put it in the corner far from objectives.

And it's whole debate about every combo perk who get massive value, each times it's the same, killer or survivor

I don't see a problem with this at all. How many times are you going to encounter a hag with this build and add on combo? Your far more likely to encounter a SWF as killer that's going to bend you over than this killer/add-on combo as survivor. Do your best, take it on the chin and move on to the next match I say.

This combo assumes people would actually play Hag in the first place #shotsfired

For real though that looks kinda mean

I can see that as a soloq stumper for survivors that rely on items but against the rest i don't see that being that much useful, especially since now survivors will know when you are in a chase.

How often will players go up against a hag let alone a hag running this specific perk/addon combo and playstyle?

It's probably more rare than a 4 man premade running 4 Bnps with second chance perks, did gens in 3-4 min and left.

Its time for survivors to bait items in lobby, by holding one and removing it with 6 seconds left in the timer

It's pretty easy, just cleanse every traps at once, there is four survivors bro

    /s

Oh wait, there is nothing she can do when you just drop your items and drop it to the corner at the beginning of the game, Just as usual only soloqs gets stomped by this
