Soon no dead zones that would negate hooking, how are we Killers feeling?!

It's a quality of life change to me

It'll be forgotten about immediately, and won't change slugging for the 4k in the slightest.

Agreed, quality of life, but wont change bad behaviour. I had a Trapper slug me, even tho he hook was right there.

I don't even understand why you thought it has anything to do with slugging for 4k, because those things doesn't have any relation at all
Also calling a strategy bad behavior is certainly stupid in PvP games

And the saddest part
Behavior are not against that and defend them, so, the slugg fest can beggin4 -
I'm pretty happy with it on some maps like midwich it can be increadible annoying if there's no hooks. Besides that we can't have people comp-cornering anymore without any hooks nearby (not that bleeding them out would be a problem if I want to kill them for any price, but it's easier if I can hook them).

It's much healthier for the game. Hook deadzones shouldn't be a thing since they only lead to boring gameplay. Slugging will be reduced a little but obviously killers who are purposefully mass slugging aren't gonna be affected.
Hopefully they'll change breakdown next.

A great QoL change that is very healthy for the game, I'm very pleased coming from someone that plays both sides.

Feeling like it should have been in the game since 2016.

Agree!
All it did was promoting awful gameplay.

Considering just last night I had someone who kept running to a dead zone, that I had no choice but to leave slugged. Yes, I am looking forward to the change. 60 seconds is perhaps too fast, I'd have it be 90 - 120 seconds to make it more "fair." But it would at least discourage the Sabbo+BoilOver shenanigans that some in the fandom are fond of, especially when they yell at the killer in the Post-Game, about being left to bleed out.

A positive.

True, meanwhile I as a killer feel guilty if I keep a survivor down 10 seconds to chase off a nearby survivor. Or to wait out DS, I try but dont suceed always. Slugging is a waste to me

Now I can slug next to 1000 hooks adding salt to the wound.

Trapper, is that you?

Maybe..

It's great, especially considering that I've noticed a lot of more deadzones after this update. Not sure if they also messed with hook spawns but they feel scarcer than before

Terrifying as ever, I see

You need to give some context or point to a post that explains what you are talking about.

They're extremely related. Killers claim they only slug because of dead zones. It's all over the forums, homie.
And it is stupid, like tunneling. It's lazy and unhealthy for the game as a whole. It's a PVP game, sure, but scummy is scummy regardless.
Meanwhile, killers are mad at distortion lol.

Everybody else seemed to understand tho? 🤔 Might just be a you problem ngl.

I personally had three matches on my first day after the patch, where I thought "dang, I will need to slug this one, that hook was used up before", but then I remembered and lo and behold, that hook had respawned. No slugging occured, I hooked that survivor immediately :)
And since then I have not once slugged, because the survivors ran into dead zones. I slugged here and there for the 4k, yes, when I felt that I was up against a full SWF and they didn't show much personality all match besides BMing me, but my overall toxicity has gone done … until the generater bug reared its ugly head. Now I got to slug again, when I believe that the survivors aren't in a SWF, for fear of 2 or 3 gens completing. Isn't bugged DBD a thing of wonder?

Can you name few, because I haven't seen anyone stated hook depletion as "only reason", people repeatedly said you'll be slugged if you run to dead zones, but I haven't seen anyone saying "only reason"
Is it real or all your imagination
