could we get more in depth keybinds?

there are lots of actions that are done by the same input, for example breaking pallets, kicking generators, vaulting windows, opening lockers, and picking up survivors.

you get situations where a downed survivor faces a locker so you cant look at a locker to avoid a flashlight save, and forces you to look behind or sideways, because if you attempt to pick up facing a locker, opening the locker overrides the survivor pickup.

same goes for windows and pallets. if there were a dedicated input for these actions it would be nice, now if players like the way it is, they can keep it default, but those that would like more control would appreciate it.

this isnt a killer only qol, sometimes as survivor you want to vault a window and get locker vacuumed, because most actions just use 1 input button. like i said, this feature would give more control to players.

i dont see how anyone could be against this, besides ruining the "techs"/exploits that come with a single input doing everything, but unless its there by design [which would be very disappointing], adding this accessibility feature would be huge, similar to the FOV slider.

I'd love for Vecnas spell wheel to be on the D pad

I've complained about this so many times.

I try to escape through the hatch in the dying state, instead it tries to recover (even if I'm as recovered as I can be). I try to open the hatch with a key, instead I start Self-Caring on top of it. Running Self-care also overrides saving off the hook, doing gens, picking up items, etc. And yes, I have changed my key bindings so that I don't throw a pallet when I try to heal, but it's not enough. During the anniversary event, it would play my lute or throw a pebble when I tried to accept a party totem. It was maddening.

I would love this. I made a post suggesting exactly this but unfortunately it got no traction. Opening his spell menu and selecting the correct option with the analog stick is all extremely clunky.
