Question for devs about Cross Progression
With regards to cross progression, here is a question:
I have paid for the game on 3 different platforms, all console. So, how will this work? If a family member of mine is on one platform, will my account be unusable on another ?
E.g.,
My daughter is playing on the X-box, and my wife wants to play on the Switch. Since the account will be linked, is this possible or will there be a conflict? We have 2 separate ISPs in the house, so one could be on ISP 1 and the other would be on ISP 2. What if 2 of the kids want to run a lobby with me as killer in a custom? or the upcoming 2v8 mode?
As for why someone else would be on my account, I am a killer main, and kids are survivor mains, but trying out killer. Wife is killer main as well.

I would think not as it will look to BHVR for your player ID instead of being platform specific.

you will not be able to play with the same linked account at the same time even if it’s on different platforms.
But you do not have to link them at all if you don’t want to either..

if the accounts belong to different family members you shouldn't link them onto one behavior account2 -
You won't be able to use both at the same time if linked. You could still have your home account on a second PS5 for example and play on a second account, the DLC will still be useable that way. I'm not sure if other consoles work that way.
