Anybody else scared about 2v8 now?
Based on the amount of broken stuff the bugfix brought to the game today, I lowkey feel like the game is just gonna explode tomorrow

I've been clearing off the archive of videos on my PS4 to make room for the inevitable deluge of 2v8 clips I'll undoubtedly be recording…

Watching survivors go for flashlight saves and get teleported to the hook was the funniest thing I've seen in years. BHVR should make a perk for that. It could be called Hex: Eat **** or something.
If it all works perfectly and there's no jank I will be genuinely disappointed. I'm hoping for the return of Space Billy.

The scariest thing is Dead by Daylight is temporarily going free to play this weekend we'll likely see an uptick of hackers.

I saw that advertised on their Twitter/X account and thought the same thing.

I see a common recommendation or suggestion that BHVR simply delay a release so they can focus on fixing up bugs, but this release has been scheduled, announced, hyped up by the community and is now highly, highly anticipated. BHVR's business team would never consider delaying a release with this much hype bc of the backlash they would surely experience.
It's probably better to release something, to them, than nothing. At least when they do that there's some potential revenue.

I feel like all of these bugs are being caused by the 2v8 infrastructure. The gen bug seems particularly suspicious to me. The amount of gen completions required changing based on the number of survivors present in a public match, when we have a mode coming that is going to change the amount of gens required in a public match due to an increased number of survivors present, seems very coincidental.
It's just a theory, though. I might be totally off.
At least 2v8 is meant to be a party mode, so bugs will hopefully just make it more entertaining.
