2vs8 best Mode ever
We need this Mode permenant!
I played dbdl so Long and this Mode is in both Sides the perfect Chaos! I cant remember where i have so fun in the boring 1vs4 sbmmr dead Thing. I will never Play any other Mode. If the Event end i quit and wait for the next time they Bring it on! I Hope realy they make It permanent. For the Sake of the Chaos!

They would never make this permanent, it separates too many players from the queues for the main game mode
Thank goodness too, though if you enjoy it that is good for you but I am done with it personally and look forward to it ending so the regular queues go back to normal.

This is a weird point. You're basically saying 2v8 is TOO fun and therefore shouldn't be added, because players should be forced to play a more boring version of the game?

Not in this state.
It needs a lot of tweaking.
Some like it that it is a fast chaotic match but what they all deleted from the game is really a lot.
For me it is like the very simplified action version of normal DbD. And that is exactly not what made DbD so popular and longlasting.

respectfully, that’s a terrible point. At the time of writing this there are over 62k on steam alone. Never mind the players on other platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and epic games. The player base can handle it easily. Also right now, during peak interest. I’ve had literally 0 impact on regular queue times for killer and survivor.
and like the other guy said…why would they remove a mode people find more enjoyable than the original? Like “oof, this is too successful, better not capitalize on this and please the majority of the player base”.4 -

BHVR will not want the community separated where 8 survivors are removed from the main queue
You are missing my point entirely.
This mode removes 8 survivors from the standard queues for every match and puts them into a mode where the content they sell such as killers and survivors many buy for their perks are not able to be accessed.
No access to DLC = no reason to buy it = no money for BHVR.
They may add the game mode again but no way it would ever be permanent

I think DBD's player base is big enough to split up
Have you guys seen how much the player base spiked when 2v8 launched? On Steam alone it nearly reached 100k, god knows how much on consoles… It would be in BHVR's best interest to make this a permanent game mode and tweak it where need be
The demand for 2v8 has been around for many years. It makes absolutely no sense for the developers to introduce this for a few weeks and then take it away1 -
This is the first hands on experience we have as players, the developers want us to play, give feedback, and then make adjustments and improvements if this mode turns out to be highly demanded after its release. The devs have stated this and have stated they want to implement more Killers in later iterations of this mode. I mean your point of queue times was what I was addressing. Not DLC. So I can’t really miss the point I wasn’t addressing. Yeah the killers and skins are limited….but they can add them in once they figure out how to balance them. I have every perk, every killer, every survivor. And I still prefer this over the 1v4. Plus they still have the option of regular 1v4 where they can go play if they want to use perks and things they can’t in 2v8. Queue times for regular mode, is largely the same.
if the new mode is this successful, and is dragging in new players in the game. (I know three who got the game to try this mode), then it’d be the smart thing to add it permanently as it is adding revenue and larger player base who may eventually purchase DLC1
