MMR is used for matchmaking, but given the queue times the parameters get widened to prioritise matchmaking speed, the results of the trial however, do not affect MMR - so your MMR doesn't gain or lose depending on what happens in a 2v8 match, it's purely matchmaking only.

Ah, I see! So your stuck on whatever MMR you are at but if you escape or get kills, your MMR won't go up or down in 2v8, correct?
