Making 2v8 permanent
I’ve been having loads of fun with this game mode, I just hope they can add all the other killers soon! I’d love to play as my main skull merchant, tagging along with my friend who is a onryo main my drones and his tv’s will be very fun to witness hopefully the devs can make that happen for us ❤️

I'm sure they will eventually, if they intend to make it permanent. It'd get really stale real fast with only five killers. But working out how many of the killers who generate map items (TVs, Jigsaw Boxes, Fountains, etc.) are going to work together is probably going to take some time.

I mean if you want the game to die then permanent 2v8 would be the way to go 😂
Killer mains aren't going to stick around for long getting on average 2 games every hour. Even normal mode queues are severely effected by this game mode with ridiculous waiting times. There just isn't enough players to make multiple modes work unfortunately.

But there is it. So Most people Like the chaotic Mode. If the old Mode Go because new make more fun? I don't See a Problem. The Game need a Long Time a reboot from the 100000 perks and broken Combos. The strongest Point is WE have now 2 Killer that people can Play together swf was for a Long Time Limited to survivor. The que times are a little broken because everyone will now Play with His friend Killer. And that are many survivor Mains too. The que will be better If the 2vs8 IS Go in Long Terms, now you can Play AS swf with way more Friends and this will be too have a fanbase. Forget the old system. Long live 2vs8 Long live the buitifull Chaos!

10-15 min lobby waiting is normal time for a lot online games with many different modes on them. So its not a big deal to wait a little bit more than usual.

15 minutes is not an acceptable amount of time to wait on a game that usually only lasts around 10. If matchmaking times become that long across the board, this game will not last.

I agree it should be a Permanent Game Mode, but of course still just a side option next to the normal regular game mode.
People keep complaining about the long Killer ques, this is 100% accurate it does take way too long, however, I feel like they don't realize that once Killers start to play less of the game mode the ques will start to balance out and be much faster for them.2 -
There isn't enough killer mains to service 2 game modes and maintain reasonable queue times for both Killers & Survivors. If killers stop playing 2v8 then survivor queue times will go up. I just can't see it working in a way the balances out and keeps queue times a reasonable level. I mean queue times are already pretty bad in 1v4 mode also for killers so if that's anything to go by then it would definitely be an issue going forward.

My only concern is the queue time for killer.
Yesterday I didn't even want to try the role because of that.

Its not 10-15 mins though it's 20+ at the moment. As others have mentioned going from 3-5 min queues to even 15 mins is a really bad idea and will make people quit the game and you'll have an excess of survivors that now find themselves in 15-20 min queues every game just to get tunneled out in 5 mins.
It should definitely be something that happens again maybe twice a year but it's not going to be a permanent feature imo

Queue times will be faster the more killers there are.
One of the staff around here said there's not a shortage of survivors, rather an influx of killers. And keep in mind, you can't play 2 of the same killer in a lobby. If there's 1000 Huntress players queuing compared to 200 of each other killer (as a small example) they have to wait to match with anyone other than a Huntress.0 -
But if I want to play with a friend, it still takes about 15 minutes. I don't know why that is. Maybe the mmr is desperately trying to get all the players in. I'm sorry for my bad English
