Instead of Making Red Scratchmarks Brighter Red...
Please let us customize the color of auras and scratchmarks. It's something we colorblind players have been asking for for years, with the pushback from others that they're not always that easy to see and therefore it could be an unfair advantage. With the change to brightening the scratchmarks, I don't think that argument holds up anymore.
As a colorblind player, you can make the red as bright as you want, on Coldwind Farms I will not be able to track survivors because the red blends in with the washed out orange and yellow that everything is. This is a distinct disadvantage that is going to be only more pronounced after this change. Same with auras, playing survivor on Coldwind I can see someone go down and look 360 degrees looking for where, and never see their body. Once they're hooked I have information, but that's so much later than normal color vision players get.
If I could make both auras and scratchmarks a bright blue, suddenly I am on an equal playing field to other players. VIvid blues are the easiest color for me to see, and would work so much better for me than a brighter red than the red we have currently. A different player might want yellow, or neon pink, or something else that doesn't get washed out in their own color vision.
The point is, I think it's clear you're trying to make colorblindness less of a disadvantage by brightening the red on the scratchmarks, but it's not going to help on maps where everything winds up in the same piece of the color wheel and those colors are hard to differentiate between. If we're making scratchmarks super easy for normal color vision players to follow, I think it's the perfect time to finally allow auras and scratchmarks to be custom colors so we aren't put further behind when we get stuck on maps that our eyes put us at an immediate disadvantage on.

I wish they showed us what the new scratch marks looked like on a map where they were harder to see. Coldwind can be obnoxious to track scratch marks on.

I agree - while I get why the entrance to the movie theater was used since it's pink on red, the pink at least for my personal brand of colorblindness didn't have that much of an issue tracking it before since it's a bright enough pink it didn't conflict with the red for me. I'm sure others may have had an issue on that map and I'm glad it's getting the update too, but I wish they'd've shown more map examples.
