While I agree with you, I still want to say good job.
They’re at least putting their attention to them more now than ever. :)

And yes Sadako is still very weak….especially against Swfs.

I’d hate to see another Freddy situation for any killer.

Absolutely agree. I'm very happy with so many of these changes, making killers just feel better basekit and also be less addon reliant. Very happy about this. Still many killers to improve but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

I disagree with most of these. The Twins changes ended up just being blanket buffs and QoL, which gave them even higher killrate. Their problem isn't that they're weak or anything, they're just really damn good at slugging while also being pretty strong.

As for Pig, Onryo and even Chucky I think they're fine now. Knight is a mixed bag, looking at the stats he has much higher killrate now, but he's pretty much designated to just spam long range guards over and over, still boring to play as an against imo.

I wish it were true that Onyro is “fine” now. I really do. She’s a hot mess.

Yup. I think balancing her has always been a challenge for the team, but we shouldn’t leave a killer that way.

Focusing almost all energy on one side of the game is not really doing a good job. Sorry. It's actually a weird thing to do, as a developer.

I was very happy seeing sadako was getting reverted back to her first iteration while giving her quality of life changes

Though that can't be said when they tried to nerf after all the positive feedback was received

the rework are not expected to always be liked by everyone but in my opinion the two rework that failed were

    →Onryo

    →Twins.

Chucky is 50/50. he is not worse for me but i feel like his changes could been a little bit more refined.

    =========

Skull merchant and Plague are doubtfully going to be failed reworks that make character worse for the killer. Pinhead could be success but he could also miss the mark.

While i am concerned for 3 above killers, most people are likely more concerned about Billy, so I am curious for how they'll change billy and what the popular opinion is for billy after his changes.

It beats 2-5 years of no updates regarding community feedback at all doesn't it? Doesn't at least some credit feel deserved?

Also with regards to Pig... when you look at all the nerfs she had in 2019, the buffs she got were like giving a man dying of thirst a half filled cup of Scottish Highlands mineral water...

Every day we don't appear in the patch notes is a sigh of relief, and we'll take anything over being thrown out into the desert again xD

While I agree, that it is good they did many changes. Not all of them were good.

Blight is very unfun since they changed the collision.

Pig got another nerf after they said they buff her. I‘m not happy that they think her traps need nerfs, when they are clearly not very strong in regards of killing. The aura removal was very unnecessary and made this killer a lot less fun. Overall they should undo a lot of her nerfs.

Sadako: I hoped they would just revert her to her first iteration and not do a mish mush of both versions.

Huntress and Bubba got overbuffed in my opinion.

Chucky got ruined by removing the ONLY unique part he had (scamper). They could have nerfed it in so many ways, but no they decide to remove it. Wow

I hope they stopp this trend of completely reworking killers and changing how their powers work entirely. I hope they do add new abilities to their characters and keep the old ones instead of constantly reworking powers. The only one where I think this shouldn‘t be done is Freddy, he needs something new and different or his old version.

Over the past year or two, BHVR have been a lot more effective in many aspects, with Killers just being one.

They have been a lot more open, and receptive towards feedback. They've introduced new modes that have vastly improved the enjoyment of the game. The cosmetics have been creative. Survivor tweaks to perks and dealing with face-camping, as well as some more inventive perks, have worked well. New Killers have been fun and more experimental, especially with the odd quirky add-on, such as The Dark Lord's Iridescent.

They've done really well overall! Of course, they've also made some questionable - or plain confusing - decisions. However, they have listened mostly to negative feedback and acted on it. I do think they need to playtest more when it comes to some of the decisions, but maybe it's just them experimenting a little too much.

So, overall, they have genuinely been doing a pretty good job so far.
