Skip Death Scene
Good day,
I’ve been thinking it would be a great idea to give players the option to skip the final death scenes where you’re on the hook. I understand that these scenes are part of the tense atmosphere the game aims to create, but there are also many players with thousands of matches accumulated, and this scene only represents a delay before they can search for another match. The option could be in the settings under “Skip unnecessary death scenes on the hook,” and (to preserve the game’s essence for new players) it could be disabled by default, allowing each player to enable it at their discretion. I don’t think anyone would lose with such an option, and neither would the DBD developers.
Thank you.☺️

Unnecessary? It's called Dead by Daylight for a reason. Also it's just 5 or 10 seconds. Is that really going to make a huge difference?

Man I am not even past my mid 20s, but are attention spans really getting this low in my generation?
Just look at your phone, check your DMs. Stand up, do a quick stretch and sit down. Maybe go get water or something. 10 seconds is no time at all.

I kinda like it but i wish the noise during it was turned down. It makes it so hard to hear everything else that's going on.

^ this. When a Survivor dies on the Hook you hear nothing when still being in the Trial and playing. No foodsteps, no Terror Radius, etc.
@Topic:
I dont mind it too much. I think it can stay as it is, I am honestly not really looking at it anymore and just accept that it is there.

At this point I'm starting to believe there are people who post on this forum just to contradict others lol. This is the most nonsensical defense I've read in a while

The loud noise no matter where you are is kind of odd. You could be next to the hook or on the other side of the map... same volume. Between this and the black bubble that blocks visuals...

I'm not opposed to it, but this would be the type of QOL that I think should be at the very bottom of BHVR's list

It's only around a few seconds, I think this is a change that most likely won't happen
