THWACK! Buff
THWACK! just isn't worth running. If you want to run a perk that achieves basically the same thing, that can be used without a hook, and isn't "wasted" during chase, just run Ultimate Weapon. I propose a fairly simple and in theme additional effect that would make this perk see more use.
THWACK!: In addition to the existing effects, while active, increases the speed you perform the next pallet or breakable wall break action by 50%.
This obviously would not work on m2 breaks, which would function as it currently does, but if you choose to break with the standard break action this could be very useful.

I think a better idea would be to just remove the hook requirement. 50% break speed is kinda nutty but would be funny to see.

50% pallet break would be nutty... that seems a pretty nice buff in exchange for a hook...

i think nature of Thwack is pallet = information. I'd rework the perk to work like weave attunement. every time your in chase, the next pallet dropped is highlighted to the killer for 30 second in yellow. Survivors near the pallet have their aura revealed within 12 meters.

50% isn’t all that crazy. Wraith has 60% as a purple add on. And 40% as a green. Which he can combine with fire up and BS for a total of 140% which is nutty lol.
Brutal strength should be 50% considering it’s taking an entire perk slot. 20% is garbage.

I mean Wraith only has that fast of a break because he literally can't attack while cloaked. They'd be silly to give that kind of pallet break speed in a regular scenario.

I just don’t see why you would ever use the perk when you could use pain Rez, Pop, noed, grim, or any other countless better perks. Maybe 50% would be too much but 40% at least to ever get me to consider using it. 20% makes it go from 2.34 to 2.02 seconds.
And yes wraith can’t attack while cloaked it’s still an insanely good add on that allows him to catch up quicker than he already can. I think this perk is top 10 because it’s free and decent compared to the other garbage starting perks.0 -
I think this would be super exciting and feel like a sizeable reward for hooking, THWACK!'s current effect is so lackluster and ill-fitting of the reward structure of what a hook-based perk should net you. Plus action speed increases are not that crazy at high %'s as for a bunch of tiles you can still find safety after the killer goes for the break. Singularity is a great example of a killer that doesn't get too unruly with a high action speed modifier, and its all multiplicative so the more action speed % modifiers the worse they stack up! Great recommendation overall.

he has add-on that instantly decloaks him for breaking a pallet. So they're silly for having that pallet break speed? Singularity also has it as well and he can attack.

I mean Singularity has to jump through a bunch of hoops to get that, and it's his power.
Wraith has to dedicate two addon slots for that effect.
Giving that effect in a perk slot could end up being a bit much.
I think you underestimate just how good Brutal Strength really is. It's actually a really good perk.

I’m definitely underestimating that perk. There are way too many better options I think and I think enduring is a way better choice.
