If you do what the challenge says, after syncing the memories, for the rest of the game you hear the whispers of thr shards, and the challenge simply doesnt complete...

Instead, it says -1/1

I have tried the challenge at least 5 times with different characters and it's always the same

    Oh THATS what I was hearing the entire trial! For the longest time I wasn't sure what killer I was facing because I got so confused by the constant bickering in my ears. It was a cool, scary effect, but sadly I ended up with -1 on the challenge, too. This bug put the "scary" back in repairing a gen.

    I'm having this happen right now. I also had one game where my shard spawned in the ground and I couldn't even collect it. On the plus side, I think you do still get the bonus BP every game for collecting/syncing the shards.

    I finally got it. I tried about 5 times and finsihed it every time and syncted the shards everytime with the in-trial portal, but when I then got back into the lobby, I would get the -1 counter.

    I then tried one last time, but this time wanted to escape, and that worked.

    Oh that explains the sound I heard when I was going for it! I got lucky and for some reason it completed, though the game said it didn't. I thought the sound meant I was Oblivious on Gens because I kept hearing it, then it went away, then I heard it on gens again, is it supposed to work that way?

    I finally managed to complete this archive on like the 4th try. For me what worked was not synchronizing the shards in the last portal, and just escaping the trial after collecting them.
