FPS drops and NVIDIA filters issue after EAC and 8.2.0 update
I play on PC/EpicGames
After the last update (both EAC and DbD) my game dropped from 80-100 fps to 30, in order to play normally I should play for an hour with fps 30 then it goes up to 60fps but I still can experience bad frame drops from 60 to 10 and etc. This happens every time I open the game, and Im forced either to play longer waiting it to load up still experiencing terrible frame drops, or not playing at all.
After EAC update NVIDIA filters are no more working for DbD I dont know if you can fix this, but Ill leave it so you know lol.
Before the update my game was running smoothly, I could exprience frame drops from 100 to 80 ( cuz my pc sucks) but that wasnt bothering me at all. I never had such problems with DBD, I hope you can do something with this cuz I want to experience new chapter too :(

Hey friend, I feel like your issue could be related to mine, minus the NVIDIA filters since I don't use those. Could you open your Task Manager while Dead by Daylight boots up and check your disk usage?

Its 100%. I heard It matters if you play by hard disk or SSD and I really hope thats not the thing, cuz I have the same problem with VALORANT and Im using a hard disk

Forgot to mention while in game my disk usage is 60-90 and sometimes jumps to 100, but before the update it was the same so 🤷♂️

I'm in the same boat. I honestly couldn't say if my disk usage was high before the update, but my stuttering is significantly worse in this update. In any case, running at 100% is not good for drive health either way. I hope they address it.
