Small maps are really not good for the game.
The recent small variations of maps (Coldwind, Ormond, Autohaven) among others I may have missed are really not fun to play in, and like for once I am starting to feel like I need to bring map offerings just so I don't have a chance of getting them.
It's not the case for all killers m1 killers these variants help, but hyper mobile anti loop these are misery which unfortunately is a lot of the playerbase along with Huntress with all these short walls.
Either:
-Add more jungle gyms which aren't doo doo
-Make the map bigger
I think some of the recent reworks and maps are great I just don't understand how inconsistent these design decisions are, could a dev maybe explain to me the logic behind the HUGE difference between the Withered Isle new map and the reworks…?

And bring the default fog back, so you don't see the borders of the map

I'm glad more people are talking about map design. It is definitely reaching a critical point of issues between the new coldwind tiles and new haddonfield and every other map change.
There are ways to balance maps to make them fair, but making things like haddonfield or new rancid abbatoir and making it small with few, weak resources is not interesting for either side.1
