Flashbang imo needs a nerf
I had a match no so recently where survivors will all lead to lockers and refuse to progress the match til they locker save me. I literally couldnt do nothing cause they both enter locker and i do the right thing and just leave and find another 2 survivors near eachother they just go in a locker refuse to play. And if i do (i didnt fall for it but i couldn't get a down nor hook cause all chase started near lockers) they just drop an uncounterable flashbang and if i go after either of them they just keep doing over and over. Especially since flashbang got an unnecessary buff i see this attempt of no skill locker save and its literally annoying.
And i know what you will say *why didnt you let them locker save you* then ill get punished and they get what they want.
Why dont you use lightborn? Cause the perk isnt good and then they will just commit to gens.
This no skill flashbang locker save is a lose lose situation and needs to go

It doesnt need much of a nerf, but that it is uncounterable when you are standing on it and even got blinded if you look straight up, that is just some BS that needs to go.
Its not exactly "no skill", because you need to learn the 1.5s timer correctly, but thats manageable and opening up a lot of "uncounterable" situations that are just unbelievable frustrating.

my only problem with flashbangs is that since 8.2.0 there is no sound when survivor drops it

i feel u buddy, ive been trying to bring awareness to this multiple times, and get shutdown on the topic. only choice is to run lightborn.
but its funny how when killers have lose lose situations towards survivors, they get patched, such as deathslinger ads, and pyramid head m2.
but the locker save flashbang gets to stay. they did it for flashlights, why not flashbangs?

Pretty much my only complaint too.
Otherwise I do think flashbang is alright. I get impressed with survivors managing to get blinds around corners and stealth drops. It's just not fun when you pick up at a wall and it can bypass entirely and easily have a second one crafted in a short time. Pretty much the only reason I run lightborn, aside from Unknown for the fake-clone mindgame.0 -
Exactly this. I can perfectly face into a corner to supposedly safely pick up but survivors are somehow allowed to glitch into my model and drop an unavoidable flashbang. If the devs were to fix that glitch, I'd be perfectly fine with flashbangs.

I agree about lockers. It's so annoying they can still pull that off. I recall devs allegedly fixing locker blinds, but apparently not.

Not necessarily flashbangs but the whole save mechanic as a whole. Should really reduce the safe window to start blinding down to .2 seconds because .4 is literally just extremely easy.

Locker blinds were fixed because they basically gave you walmart lightborn while locker grabbing; you can't be blinded until the animation finishes.
The issue with flashbangs is theres no "start" to the blind required, it instantly blinds the moment it goes off, which is timed after the grab completes.

The problem is not flashlights, the problem has been a bug for like 6 months now. It used to be that when you picked up a survivor, you had collision with other survivors. Sometime 6 months or so ago, it was made so you lose all collision, this means survivors can walk inside of you, drop a flashbang, and even looking at a wall doesn't fix it.
It also causes issues at pallets because you can't body block a pallet save while picking up a survivor anymore. If they fix this bug, they'll fix the issue with flashbang.

well thats what i thought, they just kept old blind saves for lockers. tbh they shouldve extended the immunity, it feels so bs to deal with that because the only viable play vs survivor jumping into locker is to grab them and that's no longer allowed.

Yeah I agree, locker flashbang saves need to go for the same reason old locker flashlight saves had to go: the killer can't do anything and it can negate all pressure. It's pretty silly tbh. I'm surprised it's still in the game honestly.

This is why I run Lightborn in most games.
It's already bad enough being blinded while facing a wall without dealing with blinds while picking up from a locker. They need to fix this.
