should make it a option to hide prestiges a lot of people worked hard to prestige their favorite character and want the accomplishment to be shown .

I agree, i want my Prestiges to be shown. Now it feels kinda pointless upgrading besides the perks and add-ons

This change was done to strengthen the matchmaking, by eliminating one of the reasons players on both sides left lobbies. Making it an option defeats that purpose, as it would then be seen as players hiding their prestige must be "insert reason to dodge here".
If the choice is to flex a number for a player, verses making the matchmaking better for the whole, is there really a choice?

No cause killer will just assume the surv choosing to hide their prestige is a high level anyway

They changed it to reduce dodging, something that has actual experimental data to support it as a decision. They did the AB test where some had it hidden, that group dodged less. When they know (and have said on this very forum) that dodging hurts matchmaking via backfill and such, it makes perfect sense to hide it for all.
Optional would just make the dodging concerns worse than before. Because then not only will P100s get dodged by dodge-happy players, anyone that opts to hide it for any reason will simply be assumed to be P100 by someone that's dodge-happy no matter if they're actually P2.

dumbest update ever, now i have to play against p100s as an inexperienced player and get mad cause they have advantage over me, so i just stop playing mid game and then find out in the end they're all p100s or p50s p80s. revert hiding prestiges.

i just wish we could see the prestige in our party lobby. im okay not having it in the game lobby but i like to show my friends when i level up and see when they do as well

yeah cause its very fair for someone who is inexperienced to be matched with p100's and get "bullied" which makes some people not even wanna touch the game again cause some survivors are just sick in the head the way they play cause they've been playing since release and have 5k+ hours

The problem in this case is with the matchmaking system, not prestiges. I agree that what you're describing isn't right but dodging is only a bandaid solution.

And all this dodging is most likely the reason you're getting matched with people with way more experience.

I'm baffled that this ptb doesn't even have AT LEAST prestige visibility in PRE-LOBBY. Abslolutely insane.

I rarely dodge games… its when i can clearly see its a swf… its really easy to see when its a swf most of the time and almost no one can beat a game with 4 people or at least 3 of them on comms but whatever
