first of all #REVERTBLIGHT secondly when was the last time a survivor sided map got nerfed? when was the last time anything related to survivor GAMEPLAY including perks got nerfed? plus there was quite a bit of counterplay to blights hug tech so thats not a valid argument AND indoor maps still sucked for him. its EVEN WORSE now you can barley get through a door. BHVR please please. at least brung back hug tech and no. its not an exploit unlike lopro blight a few months ago.

Haddonfield got nerfed a few months back, there haven't really been many balance changes on maps as a whole though.
They also nerfed Background Player, DS and Buckle Up with Vecna's release, and I don't think there's been many specific perk nerfs since that patch.

Nah, don't revert blight. Nerf his Iri Tag, Blighted Rat and Crow a little more. He's still number 3 behind Hillbilly.
Besides, Hillbilly will get nerfed soon. And Blight will never get nerfed again. You're fine.

Did you just start playing within the last year? Because the answer to every survivor nerf question is pretty much "within the last year". Did you play on MacMillan or Coldwind 1 year ago vs today?

When was the last time maps got nerfed for Survivor - Hmm Farm rework (2ft teepee pallets anyone?), Autohaven rework (jungle gyms are lucky to have a pallet OR a window now), Macmillan rework+variants (see Autohaven), Haddonfield rework (butchered houses), Ormond rework+variants (way too easy to camp now+massive deadzones), Eyrie rework (used to be Surv sided, now mostly fair), Yamaoka variants (massive deadzones), Borgo rework (was way too Surv sided, now practically a free Killer win), Vecna's map (Portal usage is basically a free Killer hit now), and I'm probably missing a lot more.

I don't think survivors have ever had base gameplay nerfed, except for warping to the other side of the pallet. Ironically they still warp into the pallet stun animation, just in a different way. Bloodlust and Entity Blocker, I consider killer buffs. Map size/pallet count reduction, I consider map changes. The only thing that came close was when new survivor running animations were proposed, because they made more sense with how survivors run and turn, and survivors cried until it got undone because it made 360s hard to do.
Because nothing spells unfair like losing your ability to rob a killer of a point-blank, deserved hit. Why not disappear off their fov in .2 seconds? That's what other self-respecting games do, right? Combined with aim dressing, and killer's inconsistently pea-sized hitbox, it simply helps survivors express skill.

addons deserved a nerf, they needed it so much. However, removal of hugtech was one more step in BHVR's kicking of skill expression in guts.

Medium vault speed.
Distance needed for a fast vault.

Also, since we're limiting to "base gameplay" you can add:
Increase to base gen speeds, most recently +10 in 6.1.0
Anti gen tap mechanic
Hatch rework
But since the person you're responding to can just claim anything is "qol" you won't get a good faith discussion about this. It'll just be moving the goalpost.

Yeah, I thought about some of those (especially the gen one which is roughly equivalent to nerfing gen speed to 0.9 charges a second), but I tried to limit it to the absolute, most basic 'basic' mechanics because the structure definitely seems like it is trying to win the argument by defining out all possible counter points.

Reduced survivor Distance on hit in 6.1.0.
Reduced base Self heal speed to 24sec
Gen tapping removed

Gens going from 65 charges to 70, then to 80, then more recently to 90
Healing going from 12 seconds to 16 seconds.
Now please, tell me how those are killer buffs or QoL

You cant really nerf survivors baseline aside from changing just how healing or gens work. You could hit their movement speed at which point you wouldn't have anyone playing survivor

QoL would be vault speed blood list map changes are entirely balance not QOL balance is when it cost the match to be slower or faster lol if totally diffent hook grab being took away is QOL not a nerf to killer as some might call it same this with the anti face camp it quality of life becasue it left people be able to actually play the game

I forgot what patch it was but I believe it was done around the same time Survivors kept their momentum after a fast vault, and they also deceased medium vault speed by I think .1 second

8.1 - Iron Will got nerfed to be countered by Stridor.
8.0 - BGP to normal Sprint Burst speed, Buckle Up no longer gives endurance, and Decisive Strike goes down to 4 seconds.
7.7 - Adrenaline shortened to 3 seconds, no longer counters Freddy, doesn't work off hook
There you go, 3 patches where survivor stuff got nerfed
