Streamers
I would like to be shown if people are streamers (both K&S). Particularly if my name is being shown. I don't have any issue being shown 'playing', but seeing as there are so many abusive keyboard warriors / sheep around, and I have seen some abuse from online streamers aimed at players, it could help.

How would BHVR even be able to tell if someone is streaming?

That's for them to work out. Although there's many ways, ASK, change T&C to declare. Suspend accounts.
Why so cynical?
Just taking answers, not further questions.

Ok. Your answer is that it is impossible for them to do the thing you want them to do. They have also given you the tools to hide your name. Feel free to use them.

It's not impossible. BHVR just needs to add spyware to the game, so they can see what players are doing on their PC. I'm sure PC players would have no issue with that.

I had to reread that a few times to be sure I wasn't going insane.
You do realize that adding spyware to their game will nuke their reputation and potential trustworthiness right? Furthermore, they did add spyware to the game in the past and the backlash was so bad that they promptly removed it when the information was made public.

That post was thoroughly sarcastic.

Oh oops XD
My bad, it's sometimes hard on this forum to guess if something is sarcastic or not…I literally read someone saying "NOED, Unbreakable and Adrenaline should be basekit" and be completely serious when asked afterward XD

Sounds like you might be interested in turning on Anonymous mode. This will hide your name from all other players in the game, making you anonymous. You can find it under the "Online" tab in the settings.

Those of us on Xbox cannot even use their Anonymous Mode 😞

One big thing is for survivors to be able to block spectators. I have had some games where the streamer (currently dead)views the other players and killer is stream sniping them and its very unfair to the other survivors.

i personally think they shouldn't mark streamers, for a whole host of reasons, but I think it is theoretically possible
they're able to connect to your twitch account for the sake of drops. i imagine they might be able to check if someone's live using a similar system.

Im surprised by the amount of fake streamers in thr game lol ( like they put ttv in their name and either dont have a twitch account or have 0 videos/streams)

It's something entirely optional that people have opted in to? There are plenty of reasons not to do it, but "violating pricacy" when people have already voluntarily connected the two accounts isn't one of them. Like heck, do you find it terrifying when you get an email from Steam saying "thanks for your purchase"?
I would want BHVR to, like, announce the change and give people the opportunity to revoke consent if they did make the change (I also would prefer they don't make the change, lol). Fact of the matter is, "two online services you had to give special permission to communicate, doing exactly what you gave them special permission to do" is perfectly fine.

Why is it all your posts are you being sarcastic? It's a really telling trait.
Also, I don't want to hide my name all the time, so stick that in your pipe.

Plus, it's not impossible, not by any standard. If you believe that, I would recommend you never comment, your ignorance makes you look silly.
