I didn't have problems with the basekit updates. Frankly I don't have a problem with lopro being nerfed either. I don't see the need to hit the boots though. They have a fun gameplay on the more open maps. And make billy more manageable on the hellish ones. They also didn't address any of billys actually atrocious addons (dissipations) that's why the boots were the more popular pick as well as lopro. I'll still run them only because any turning is better than none.

Probably because too many loops became unsafe after the buff to the turn-rate a few months ago. This combined with these two add-ons worsened the situation and so they decided to increase their rarity and reduce their effectiveness.

The LoPro nerf is fine. Probably the way to nerf this addon without destroying it. Although I would like it if you always inflicted deep wounds. Maybe that's just me though. Either this is not a big deal.
The boots nerfs were not needed. None of them were problematic. Why do they hate Driftking Billy so? The base kit nerfs are already a bit much but this on top of that… That's not good.
What are you talking about? In a loop these addons barely do anything. They don't have any impact on a normal curve. Not to mention that they nerfed his anti loop already by decreasing the speed in Overdrive. I have trouble thinking of a single loop where the boots would help.
The boots pretty much only help with map traversal and snipes, which was not problematic in the first place.

They can keep spiked boots as is if they reduce his bit box.
Pc users had no trouble doing 90° turns making looping redundant.

So the nerf to the turn addons will really just effect his ability to traverse the map and avoid obstacles. He will still be able to curve around things at a slightly lesser rate due to the initial grace period where his turn rate is super sensitive.
Doesn't really make much sense. 80% of the fun with Billy is whizzing around and avoiding stuff to score long range snipes. Now you won't have that because of the add-on nerfs and reduced availability.
I thought the problem was overdrive but seems like they want to gut his fun factor also. Not impressed.

Thing is the boots minimally affect his loop curve. The 90 degree your talking about can be done with and without the boots. The boots are only used for map traversal while not bumping into virtually everything on some maps.

Maybe because he could patrol exit gates wayto well with his chainsaw? Especially In 1v1 situations when hatch gets closed.

I mean other killers can already do this as well. I doubt that's the factor. And he could still do that with the new ones so even if it was the case. We have killers like singularity that basically remove the Exit gate mechanic.

I also play with him and I'd rather be able to make hard turns on loops than just map traversal for stealth Billy downs.

Yeah and that tells him which gate your at. Unless you go over and emp the other gate. And if the cameras staring at the gate. Who cares if he can't mark you? He can still see which gate your going for and just stop you.
Then play other addons if ya want. We are fighting for what the addons are meant to be used for. They make him a lot more fun to play on crowded maps.

Yes. It's now 11.5 m/s instead of 13 m/s, it takes longer to get overdrive and overdrive starts to dissipate sooner. So that is quite a bit. I think the nerf to his speed is unnecessary though.

You play billy right? Then you should know how difficult it is to move around even with both boots on some maps. I shouldn't have to argue this with a billy player like yourself. If we both have played him from the same duration. Though I started in 2017 so.

I prefer Bubba. But I played alot with him b4 Bubz.
I use controller and have no difficulty, so not sure where this is coming from.
