Keep Finisher mori - but please revert the changes to Mori offerings.

People like the original idea of mori offerings. They don't want to be gated to perks and 4k-s in order to use mori animation.

Dear developers - any chance to revert the changes to the mori offerings, but keeping the finisher mori in tact? It feels like the best option for everybody.

Or second suggestion: Finisher moris, mori offerings still provide blood points bonus and letting killers to mori as usual as before.

That would be awesome.

Please keep the mori offerings the way they are on live. There are few things more satisfying in this game than getting to mori 3 or 4 survivors in a match, and 30k bloodpoints is not much of a reward for an iridescent offering either.

There's no point in bringing the mori offering and risking getting zero points from that offering (if you lose the game) when you can just bring survivor pudding or party streamers and guarantee double bloodpoints which will probably give you nearly 30k or more anyway even if you don't win the match.

It's not just that. The idea of Finisher Mori as a whole is simply unhealthy.

By hiding the Mori animation behind a 4k, it automatically incentivizes people to slug for the 4k...and we all know how fun and riveting it is.

Not to mention it also indirectly encourages proxy-camping/tunnelling, reduce Killer variety and perk variety in order to get that juicy animation (which I guarantee will get old really quick and will be met with more scorn than a normal 4k, it would be a matter of time before Mori animations are seen as a form of BM like "let me rub my victory in your face a bit longer with this cutscene") since when Survivors start to get better, weaker/slower/M1 Killers tend to struggle more and need to play more aggressively to compete.

Hiding Mori behind 4k is, in my opinion, only going to make people hate those animations and will make the game even less casual/newcomer-friendly than it already is.

There's a reason why the dreadful basekit Unbreakable was attempted alongside the Finisher Mori PTB: otherwise every single games would just end in a slugfest. Hell, during that PTB there were more bleedout games than normal even though people could get up because Killers wanted that animation after tunnelling the first 2 Survivors.

    Edit: I just had an idea to keep Finisher Mori BUT make it healthier;

What if you can Mori the last Survivor by your hand without needing a perk/offering BUT can only do so if said Survivor was downed AFTER hatch spawned (which means either a 3k was already achieved or everybody else got out). A Mori made in this fashion would offer a massive BP boost (further enhanced by Mori offerings which would keep their old effect alongside giving an incrementally higher BP bonus depending on rarity).

This would incentivize people to NOT slug for the 4k and play the match in it's entirety. This wouldn't affect those that already slugged for the 4k but would reward those that don't and take a gamble on a Hatch race. This is perfect.

Trying this out at a friend's, I have to say I had hoped it would be good, but it's really not a great change. The Mori system was perfectly fine before, and this is just more pratting about; making further garbage Offerings on the Bloodweb, when there should be less. Also, as people have pointed out, it's encouraging a further reason for unhealthy playstyles.

If there are to be any changes, the simplest thing to do is:

The Killer can Mori the last Survivor in the trial. Cypress Mori grants 1 extra Mori during the trial, Ebony Mori grants 2 extra Mori's, and Ivory Mori grants the full sweep.

This change makes the Mori less fun, not more. I get the cinematic final Mori, but it removes so much more in turn. Really, just keep it as is, or change Mori Offerings to grant an extra 1/2/3 offerings. This new change is not a good one.

I hope BHVR listens to community feedback. I can't help but feel like they won't because they seem so hellbent on changing how moris work

I'd rather not have to slug just so I can get tome and daily ritual mori challenges done.

Moris really arent that big of a deal. It requires survivor to be hooked two times before they can be mori'd, and by then they are dead anyways as next hook is a sacrifice. At most it saves killers some time and negates flashlight saves… but 9 times out of 10 whenever someone is downed and on death hook, the killer is usually able to hook them and thus kill them. Only when there aren't hooks nearby or if the survivors are a sweaty SWF swarming the killer is the killer unable to hook them. In my experiences as a killer main, very rarely are there no hooks nearby, and moris countering sweaty SWFs can only be a good thing, because SWFs have a huge advantage compared to solo queue survivors. Counters aren't always a bad thing, and moris mean less lobby dodging against SWFs

Moris were never a problem and do not need to be changed.

Nobody wants this version of a Memento Mori. The amount of value you get is less than a friggin' Survivor Pudding, one of the more useless offerings in the game. It promotes slugging for the 4k. It buffs slugging and nerfs a fun aspect of the game most people on both sides enjoy and love. It removes tactics from the game. Please please please just make Cypress basekit, retire it, and then add BPs to green and Iri Moris alongside letting them mori multiple people per round. Don't make all Moris ONLY give BP, let us Mori as many people as we want. It would be a massive crying shame to waste all the effort the devs have worked on for the Mori animations this way, turning Moris into yet another sweat mechanic.

I will keep boosting the posts about the Moris this way until the Devs get it through their heads NOT to do ANYTHING to green and iri Moris.
