[REWORK] When a Survivor is within 6 meters of a dropped pallet within 16 meters of your location, their aura is revealed for 6/8/10 seconds.
Dev note: Revealing pallets and windows was much less useful for Killers than Survivors since the Killer is present every time a pallet is broken. We have reworked this Perk to instead reveal Survivor auras near dropped pallets. This will provide some useful info during a chase and allow for some interesting mindgames.

they also do same rework for I'm all ears with windows. it is better perk but i don't know how much more common it will be. it might need a little bit more buffs. like infinity duration instead 6/8/10. maybe make it 6/7/8 meters or 16/17/18 meters as scaler's.

I think this perk could easily enter the meta now. Getting wall hacks after a pallet is dropped is huge. No more getting mind gamed when there's no LoS.

I'll be the hot take person - I prefer the old version because I like knowing what resources are available to survivors when chasing them to a tile and having an idea if they'll commit to a tile or try to LoS and break chase by continuing to hold W. The new version is okay but it's basically I'm All Ears but for pallets. I don't like it.
In fact out of everything in the developer update this was the only thing I didn't like.

The old version was great for Clown, in fact that one Clown main is gonna have to rewrite his guide lmao

I primarily use it on Clown and Trickster.
I hate the rework and the more I think about it the more I dislike it.

Old Zanshin sounded really good on Clown, this change is a bit more niche for Arinad's Clown build.

I think the rework is very unhealthy for the game. Devs are punishing survivors for being near dropped items, for being near chests, for being near a dropped pallet, in a few months you wont be able to walk without your aura being showed somehow by a perk. This is a really stupid direction the game is taking. I know its probably hard to have new ideas at this point in the game, but cmon, this only removes the only fun part of the game, whats the point of trying to loop is there in no mindgame involved, its a robot chase, because killers are already complaining on just going from loop to loop, imagine with this new zanshin rework, thats one of the best counterplay, run from loop to loop as a brainless chicken. I can see OoO coming back and Any means necessary to reset all dropped pallets and lets wait a few weeks to start seeing new killer mains post here complaining about this.

Yeah I don't know how to feel about the new Zanshin, seems like it'll be too powerful and remove the need of mindgaming most tiles. I liked the old one on killers like Clown (knowing where to throw bottles prematurely), Knight (quickly pathing through windows), and Chucky (charging S&D prematurely towards a window to extend duration w/ scamper). I also loved it on trap-based killers.

you can mindgame better now. killer like blight, clown and chucky already have add-on's for this. blight has compound 21, clown has cigar box and chucky has rat poison. it is not useful on these killers because they already an add-on for this but now other killer that don't have an add-on like that can use it. so yay, trapper can now see aura' at loops.

I'm not liking new Zanshin. It's too much on killers who don't really need to break all but the strongest pallets. Anyone who can hit over a pallet is dangerous with it, but Pyramid Head especially can just sit and snipe at every jungle gym. And unlike Weave Attunement, which is another full on wallhacks perk, Zanshin doesn't tell the survivor the killer has it, so they don't know the area is un-mindgameable.
Not a good addition to make in the same breath they're nerfing Distortion, which could have at least tipped you off.

Unless the survivor is running in a straight line, aura doesn't mean Pyramid can simply see and hit them through walls. They can always dodge at the last second and negate your play.

Seems kinda strong tbh. Gonna massively effect mind gaming on a lot of different tiles and structures. Like a lot of pallets aren't worth breaking and survivors know that so they use misdirection to juke a killer into thinking they will run towards the short route around and double back to gain a bit of distance and reach another tile or loop again. It's going to completely eliminate a huge component of survivors being able to mind game killers.
Definitely not healthy to be making such a drastic change to some of the core mechanics of survivor gameplay. Paired with lethal pursuer it's going to be hell. It's problematic already at 10 seconds.
Running it with lethal, nowhere to hide & barbecue is going to destroy solo queue. Especially on high mobility killers. People will literally have nowhere to run or hide with straight up wall hacks for pretty much every survivor mechanic in the game except vaulting windows which you could swap out barbecue for I'm all ears if you really want wall hacks for every occasion.
DC is going to increase massively in solo queue when people are getting decimated in every game in under 15 seconds at the start of the match. It's bad enough already no need to make it any worse imo.

They can, which is where the fun of predicting them comes from. You don't use the aura to aim where they are, you use it to see how they play and then adapt your own playstyle to that. That's what makes it fun.

Yea more aura read as well as a nerf to distortion. 10/10 change devs, lowering the skill expression of killers every single update.

it seems a little unhealthy. No more 50/50 mindgames at a pallet. Kind of destroys the point of predropping I guess

it better than weave and only take 1 slot. I would be shock if some of these perks make it out of the ptb.

Zanshin Tactics is definitely getting nerfed. On most killers the rework is gonna remove any ability for a mindgame or even a 50/50 and is going to guarantee a lot of hits.
