Because bhvr doesn't get profit from these skins i believe. They are on the free track of a rift and then they come back in the store for shards only.
The Artists in the fog collection was different because it was artists being paid to make cosmetics but the community contest is free0 -
This already exists! The outfits in the Artists from the Fog collection are all designed by artists from the community. Beyond that, there's more than enough winners from past contests to fill out a collection on their own.
Turning one of these designs into cosmetics you can actually wear is a long process and is way easier said than done, though, so we have to be a little selective in which ones we bring in. We've still got plenty of ideas for outfits we want to see as well. But by no means is it out of the question.
I'm really glad all of you got to join in on the voting this year because now everyone knows how difficult it is to pick a winner when there's so many amazing entries. π
