Chase doesnt start.
I wonder how often players encounter with problem of non chase activation while survivor is founded especially when play The Shape (Myers) and his perks. Almost every time I close to survivor in hit range and following him 5+ more secs even on T2 the chase doesn't start at all, same on other killer especially with Myers perks. Is it an issue or made on purpose to nerf that perks?

Myer's stalking mechanic works like wraith and pig's crouch. they remove chase element build-up timer which is a timer that builds bloodlust and begin chases when survivor is in running state. If you want to end chase on purpose prematurely, you can use this mechanic to farm play with your food stacks on Myer's.

We've only had it happen once over the years as Vecna. When we asked we were told it's an extremely rare bug.

Chase not starting happens intermittently when using play with your food in my experience. Definitely not great.
