Why no changes to Chaos Shuffle?

One of the major gripes of Chaos Shuffle for Survivors was Killers constantly camping and tunneling buff the endurance off hook duration to 30 seconds and double the Anti Camp Radius like you did for Lights out.

Another thing both sides wanted was randomized Items and addons for Survs and Killers.

definitely agree on the first part but also killers have no guarantee against gen rush either. also, i have noticed my perks are level one on a level 10 survivor i just played.

so, it will be good a couple days and it is still fun in the absence of gen rush and tunneling but getting a sense of deja vu.

I like the random item and offerings pitch. Would you get to keep the item, if you escape? Maybe they won't do it because the offerings would be tricky. I guess the items and offerings would just be a null space, so it wouldn't matter.

yeah, same survivor protection as lights out with a10-15% gen slowdown would be amazing.

I would have given killers POP to incentive them to not camp and go defend gens

Perk level ones are confirmed a bug and gonna be fixed although endurance off hook and Anti camp radius needs to be 2x.

For Killers i would have given them Pop and BBQ to incentive them to not camp defend the gen or pursue someone else

Borrow time is already standardized, we have AFC, and there's no need to worry about the generators being frozen, so are we really going to ask the killer to go easy on us any more?

It's like a child crying because he can't ride a bicycle with too many training wheels. lol

Considering there are 3-4 Syringes and BNP + map offering almost every game, with no slowdown, I wonder what else killer should do, if he wants to win, bc no matter how short your chases are, you will have 3-5 chases at best, if survivors aren't allergic to gens.

I also see a significantly more tunneling this time, I will take anti-tunnel measures, if we remove ultra-rare addons on survivors (Syringe should be deleted from the game honestly) and give to killer at least some sort of slowdown in this mode.

I just wish they'll add random Items/Add-ons and Offerings as an option. Turning off the option will not use any Items/Add-ons or Offerings if you chose so and turning it on will randomize them all.

So for hoarders, they could still keep their stuff if they wanted.

Because at the moment you can still use the strongest Items and Add-ons with XY sided map offerings which kinda reduces the fun of that mode.

I think you should just load in empty handed, and then the Entity assigns you a random item with random addons. Killers too.

I was fine with the 1st Chaos Shuffle being safe, but I was hoping that the 2nd would be a tad more adventurous.

I didn't play the first version of Chaos Shuffle, but I've noticed some of my games were very sweaty.

And that ruins the fun. It is hard to do anything as Freddy when your build is terrible, and being tunneled without having DS, especially considering I despise being tunneled, is an awful experience.

The big difference here is that gen rush is effectively impossible without a build for it. If you don't have toolboxes or stacked multiple perks, you're not "rushing" anything. It's also countered by pressure.

Camping and tunneling is base kit for killers. You can camp and tunnel with any killer and any build at any time. And the only real counter is perks that survivors have to be lucky to roll.
