Cramped Totem Locations

Is it just me or are there are a lot of bad totem locations? I always play with inner strength and small game, so I usually have a good idea of where most totem spawns are. Lately, I keep getting stuck trying to cleanse totem because I'm trying to do a running vault through a window or vault across a pallet, but it was never an issue in the past.

I feel as though some totem spawn locations are too close to other interactive elements of different maps. Not to say many, probably one per map, at most, and that's still likely only of variation of a map (One on a variation of RPD, directly beside a window)

Nothing to suggest other than maybe moving one or two totem spawns here and there, any thoughts on this?

    I think we need 2-3x the possible totem locations, to what we have now. And they could add a minimum distance ect.

    Hexes are often useless for the killers, (with a very few builds as exception) they are often destroyed within the first minute of the game.

    Totem spawns stink. I was on cold wind yesterday. My totem was out for all to see. Not a single leaf to cover or a piece of grass. Nothing. Just glowing away for all to see.


    like no, totem spawns need to be more hidden.

    They added more totem locations.

    Lately when i played i sometimes find a totem in a spot i have never seen before. Also gen locations have also changed a bit.

    I think they are trying to adjust their auto generation.

    I remember the old "lighthouse" totems on all the original maps (top of the hill totem). The totem was located where the hook was, for everyone to see.

    Also horrible old locations:

    • besides a single tree.
    • Out in the open (usually on Crotus Prenn Asylum)
