So did they just buff Corrective Action?
So let me get this straight, it becomes global at the cost of revealing the survivor to the killer who missed the skill check? Why would that matter when a solo gen would be completed in 45 seconds. Assuming by "reveal the aura of the survivor who missed a skill check" reveals it to the killer also. Like sure you HAVE to run CA, Stake Out and Hyperfocus but do you really need anything else when gens are flying?

It doesn't synergise as well. Double Corrective + Hyperfocus was basically an endless 6 stacks, but now it'll only last as long as you have stacks of Stake Out.

As far as i know its a complete rework, it doesn't show the aura to the Killer.
The perks only use is for Jonah mains to do this (and i love it):

Wouldn't Stake Out just make those good skill checks from Corrective Action into greats when you have tokens?

Yes, but that's not really any different from regular Stake Out and Hyperfocus.

Except that Stake Out-Tokens are limited/need to recharge.
Dont worry, Corrective Action is still a terrible Perk.

It’s basically old corrective action except now it shows the survivor who missed the skill check’s aura and works anywhere on the map. So if you’re on Gen B and another survivor is on Gen E and they miss a skill check on Gen E, that becomes a good (regular) skill check and you see their aura. The perk may work if you’re playing with really new survivors but most survivors don’t miss good skill checks. Maybe it’ll work as a better counter to impossible skill check doctor? I just don’t see anyone really using it, as it still sucks.

terrible perk ?
i guess you don't my kind of solo survivors who miss a skillcheck anytime they hear the faintest sounds of the killer being nearby.0 -
If a survivor let's go during a skill check anywhere on the map Corrective Action will prevent the 10% regression... 1 survivor takes the perk and everyone else benefits, that's actually not bad...

Yeah, it might be a decent pick for solo queue. Nothing like meta changing but it actually does its job well now and I love to see it.

Though, I have to admit, when I saw it reveals the aura, a little part of me couldn't help but see it as a hilarious shaming perk...
I can already see Nancy running up to me cross map just to shake her head at me xD

Is this not just yet ANOTHER Freddy nerf in disguise? RIP his addons that make use of missed skill checks… Poor guy doesn't get a break lol

I shall point my finger at any soul who dares miss a skill check in my presence. They shall feel the shame magnified a thousand-fold. I am Jonah, destroyer of skill checks.
Listen I want Freddy to get some love more than most people but not every change made is to spite Freddy. This has literally nothing to do with him.

I do realise that. I'm just pointing out an interesting and unfortunate fact of the change. I'm not saying anything about it's to spite him. It's literally an ongoing joke that freddy gets no love and recent changes, including this one, haven't helped.

The person who missed their skill check has their aura revealed to everyone with a Red arrow that says im with stupid on them

they omega buffed corrective action to make missed skill-checks not occur but it is no longer a gen progression perk for great skill-checks.

I love the idea of fixing failed skill checks; it's just a shame that it only applies to generators. If Corrective worked on any skill check that has 2+ survivors involved then this perk coulda been cool for preventing tunnels when your unhooker misses a healing check

It'll be helpful for those stupid skill checks that pop up right when you're leaving the gen. That's about it
2 -
No they didn't, the whole Hyperfocus thing is out of the question now because it doesn't give Great skillchecks anymore, it gives Good skillchecks.
It's now just a more consistent and powerful version of itself and does what it has always done: Prevent your teammates from blowing up gens. But now it's global, and you get to see who blew the gen up, so you can laugh at them if you're playing in a SWF.

I mean, this is something BHVR should have fixed years ago. But for some reason they first said that it is intended to get auto-failed Skill Checks when getting up from a Gen, just to say in their latest Reddit AMA that they are looking into it.

It's now global, so it just needs one person to run it in order to fix all failed skill checks.
Also, you know exactly who is the one who failed a skill check.

No, it's just as useless as before.

Hard to say on the wording, but it sounds like the aura read is for survivors and doesn't help the killer.
