Yes but they won't.
If anything the kill rates are too low as some survivors on nightlight are escaping like 45% of the time. Some killers have under a 60% kill rate.
Fun times are over for survivors.

There have been posts about the survivor giving up epidemic going on for months now.
All that has changed in that time is some killers got buffed, some maps got smaller, some perks got nuked and kill rate went up, escape rate went down.
It ain't changing anytime soon.

game has 5 outcomes for killer.
0,1,2,3 and 4k.
3k and 4k are wincon, while 2k is a draw.
60% killrate means average outcome of the match is 2k, meaning winrate averages at 50%.
It's not that difficult to grasp basic maths.

escape rate is not tied to killrate because of asymmetric nature of the game.
50% of x is not equal to 50% of 4x :D

Escape rate is exactly tied to kill rate. If they aren't dying they are escaping.
They are the same metric.
It is you who doesn't understand how that works.
For your mythical mafematics feory to pan out you have to account for every possible outcome. Some games you will 4k, some you will 0k, 1k, 2k. You can't just take every possible outcome and say ItS aVeRaGe Of 2k So PeRfEcTlY bAlAnCeD, it is wildly misleading and incorrect. There are many possibles of combinations that fit because kill rate and win rate are not the same.
The only thing you can say is 60% kill rate means 40% escape rate.
Then you have to remember that you take away games with a dc, hook suicide etc before the stats are released. This means solo queue is absolute ass to play and a waste of time and killer is baby mode easy.

if you take away games with hook suicides, DCs and griefing and actually fix the matchmaking in order to have greater balance sample, killrates would significantly drop :D
Anyways, looks like you just don't wanna understand how killrate-killer winrate isn't equal to escape rate-survivor winrate so i give up here.
On top of everything acting like "ohh killer is baby ez mode, soloQ is miserable" because your teammates are the ones ruining your matches the most and you almost fully play one side is wild.

The stats are supposedly taken and given out after after matches with a dc, hook suicide etc are removed. If you add those back in the kill rates go up not down. Someone's wrong again.

Yes killer is baby mode easy and survivor is miserable. One look at the forums filled with survivors giving up posts is evidence enough of that(thats the title of this thread btw).

This forum has always been full of survivor whining posts, even when survivor was at its most overpowered.
Theres 4 survivors to every killer so of course there’s going to be more survivor posts than killer posts, it’s also why the survivor comments are always going to be the most upvoted.2 -
and then you have opposite cases of killrates where you can have lower winrate depending on amount of matches, meaning stats are not fluid.
People giving up early are the ones instantly putting their team in significant disadvantage so please, just tell me how would killrates go up if those were excluded, unless average survivor is bad so much that they are beyond the salvageable point

Oh has it? I seem to remember when every second post was OMG DEAD HARD!!! THIS GAME IS A BULLY THE KILLER SIMULATOR!! and my personal favourite SWFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Killer whining posts used to be off the charts. Now that has switched as the killrate have flipped.
The whining posts are a reflection of the current state of the game.
Survivors didn't used to dc this much and rarely ever hook suicide. The screech of a 7 blink nurse or going down just before an Ebony Mori was about the only time a dc occurred.
Barely anyone is whining about how difficult killer is at the moment(because there is nothing difficult about killer gameplay nowadays. It's a 4k simulator).
Most of the whining is about how many survivors give up immediately by dcing or hook suiciding. It seems like there is a feeling of hopelessness/pointlessness about solo queue survivor especially.
Many people play both sides too remember.

If other survivors are throwing, I see no reason to stay in the match and will just go next. Also solo queues are often pretty unbearable so sometimes you just can't blame someone for wanting out.

Tomb stone piece is another one too it's so boring and no skilled, jumping in a locker only gives him free hooks anyways and I still don't get why it's not addressed. Myers onryu and triangle head should lose their passive mori honestly every onryu I face brings the most annoying maps where they easily spam tvs to get condemn kills and as soon as I see that and am slugged am holding sprint and just bleed out that point. I think she would need a rework that condemn can do something else like speed her up and give survivors debuff like slow gen repair, healing unhooking etch.

thanks, i'm really not, tho i'm looking at the whole balance aspect of the game from a little bit more serious perspective rather than just "what's fun and what isn't"

I can respect that, but would recommend that you don't wholly let the "fun" aspect of your research go, because if the game isn't fun people will stop playing and the game will die, as so many other asymmetrical PvP games have.

I played killer only when I first started playing the game. I stopped because its so easy now it feels like cheating.
