Machine Learning underrated?

As the perk currently describes, after kicking a generator it becomes compromised. When that generator pops, the killer gains 10% haste and undetectable for 60 seconds.

It's certainly a very powerful affect for the killer to have 10% haste, especially on killers who are 110% movement speed. However, it is not currently considered meta or broken so I'm wondering if its underrated as a perk in its effects. It definitely changes the dynamic a whole lot, especially at loops where the killer can get hits where they normally can't.

It's just a good perk now, nothing too crazy. You still will have 1-2 usages on average per match, it's still kinda situational, but at least activation requirement isn't that stupid now. I consider to use it from time to time now, but I don't see it in meta at all.

It's actually pretty strong now, yeah. It's way easier to activate now and 10% haste for a full 60 seconds is a big deal

It is extremely powerful and the only reason why it isn't seeing more use is because it's not a gen regression perk

While I think it isn't bad I don't find it isanely good ether.

I personally rather use perks like bamboozle or brutal to end chases quicker, any regression perk to hold the gens longer or any information perk to find survivors easier. Maschinelearning just activates at losing a gen, so something you'd want to stop normally and it doesn't even activate generally on completing but only the one you kicked last xD

no, it is because you need put a time sink on kicking gens instead of pressuring survivors. in the 30 seconds that i spend kicking a gen, i could be downing a survivor. if the perk was automatic and it just gave me haste and undetectable when someone finishes a gen, more killer would use it. time is valuable on killer and kicking gens for killer is like survivor searching chests. it is waste of time.

you need massively rewarded as killer to kick gens….. like old eruption, old pop goes weasel, those are perk that were so rewarding that people took time sink to kick gens because reward was high enough. personally for me, if the perk isn't old eruption level of like 25s incap and 10% regression, i am not kicking gens. I am not sure what would make use machine learning. Maybe if it was like 20% haste than maybe it is worth it to kick gens and lose them but like i can't see this being a good strategy vs top swf's/solos. it just looks silly.

I think it should activate after every gen pops. But it’s ok.

Haven’t tried the new Machine Learning but being able to activate it upon one gen kick also basically makes it even more of a guaranteed activation in the endgame. Pre-8.3.0 ML with only the duration buff was already quite strong, I can see this version of it being pretty damn strong on fast cooldown killers like Nemesis.

That would be kinda broken on some killers.

I think current version is fine.
