I think they are exclusive to 2v8, but I could be mistaken.

I have been having a sneaking suspicion that there are indeed unmarked Survivor and Killer bots in our matches.

Yes. I have seen a lot of temp-######## players in the past few weeks. I thought at first someone may just put that but some numbers were to random to be significant
But there were killer bots in 2v8 and I was actually slugged by one 😆

You can tell because the Killer bots play so much worse than the Survivor bots.
Also you can tell you’re playing against Survivor bots because on low loops you can see how they match your input perfectly lol

Yes. I hate survivor bots on playing both ends because they can predict your moves as killer and they ditch endgame so fast.

In the misc section it says
- Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash when the Killer bot Mori'd the player in the Tutorial.
So it might be referring to the tutorial bot, as well as possibly the 2v8 bots which I gather they'd be currently testing

Why would they need killer bots there. It would be completly counter productive when the q is already 10mins.

They had bots in 2vs8. If a killer was DCing, he was being replaced by a bot.

I hate being spotted while I'm trying to be stealthy the moment a pixel is shown on Ghostface... This is why it annoys me when ppl try to argue about the removal of DC penalties because we have bots. Bots do not act like an actual player would.

They might not DC on purpose. It's not uncommon for dedicated servers to drop people, plus most everyone has internet connection issues at least randomly if not regularly.
I had at least one teammate become a bot while I was playing killer in 2v8 (that sucked, the bot was awful and did not participate in team play whatsoever, but I didn't realize it was a bot at the time and was super confused why my killer teammate walked away when I came over to help him). And I went against killer bots a few times while playing survivor in 2v8.

Interesting, I have only played 2vs8 in a kwf. It made no sense for me to wait 10mins just to play a match without a friend.

I got kicked from the killer role after having waited for 17 minutes, right while I was entering the game.
I went to bed right after that.

Yes! I am not completely sure why the bot didn't just run out, but I think during the chaos at the border the killer situated itself between the bot and the exitgate and the bot tried to make distance, and because the bot knew where the hatch was it reckoned that that was the safer option of escape. But also the locker play and killer blind was so amazing. This bot was on steroids.

Bots won't go near a terror radius. The devs said they fixed it but its so much worse, soon as I have a faint heartbeat they bolt in the opposite way. That's why they ran from the exit gate, but bots know where the hatch is.

The first I ever heard of killer bots was on 2vs8, which I assumed was due to the longer killer wait. It also makes sense considering the small pool of killers. What if more people wanted to play huntress, they would need a way to even all that out. I believe they're working on bots as back up for longer killer ques for any match. Shorter waiting times and all.

I've seen survivor bots worse then same of the low console players. blowing up gens 3-4 times in a row, walking up to a teammate like it was going to heal them to just runoff with no killer in range, drop a pallet on nothing.

Hm… I wouldn't say so. I mean, yeah, sometimes they're dumb as a rock, but sometimes they will feel like cheaters.
I recall last 2v8 I faced a few Nurses and Billy bots and they would literally dash cross map to catch survivors even when there was no aura reading being applied.
Heck, a Hillbilly literally used his chainsaw from the other side of the map to catch up to me while I was in a locker. I was really confused until I noticed it was a bot in end game.
