Bardic yet again bugged
Use Bardic perk on Lara and you will have no value at all in match just a waste of perk slot

Same problem. Bardic Inspiration was actually working properly for a few days, but now it doesn't do anything that all - no animation, no effect, just goes on 90-second cooldown.

Releasing more paid cosmetics for them without fixing their perk for this long is crazy work.
It started fine, 90 seconds of skill check improvements
patched, Then you'd perform and not get the buff,
patched to then only give you 20 seconds instead of the listed 90 second buff time.
patched again and now for me it wont even do perform, the perk just goes on cooldown and does nothing.
I haven't been able to use this perk for over a month and a half. whats going on?

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but I got this bug again earlier today after the update.
1 frame of animation, no guitar and no dice, just a cooldown.

I'd recommend posting which survivors you are using and maybe even the cosmetics it seems to be working on certain survivors and not others and while most likely not it can be an issue with certain cosmetics on said survivors.

There is something going on causing it as I could use it last time I played just fine. It could also be good to check perks and what things are effecting the player at the time trying as there could be some interaction there that causes the bug.

Can you make sure you're not just tapping the button for the perk and hold it down please?

There is nothing to hold there, we just press E once and don't move until the song ends, but as you can see on some skins, when we press E while not moving nothing happens and the perk goes on cooldown

Were we supposed to be holding the button for the entire performance, though? Typically you're supposed to do one quick button press for these kinds of perk effects (like Diversion or Blast Mine.) I never had to hold the button before to use Bardic Inspiration.
The issue is that the perk is behaving like an action interrupts the performance (i.e., if the character moved or tapped a gen or something). The input remains the same.

For players experiencing this current issue on PC, can we please get your in game-logs after an affected trial. After the trial where Bardic Inspiration does not work, please quit the game and do the following:
Press Win+R
- Type in appdata
- Press OK
- In opened window navigate to: \Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
- Usually you would need to attach the DeadByDaylight.log file.
The logs can be uploaded directly to this thread.

Okay, I'll attach the logs if I see this problem again. Do you reproduce the entire match code using these logs and thus find the problem? It's just that when I open it I see strange unreadable symbols😂

the symbols are the encryption, so we just have to decrypt it to view what happened.

with Bardic it seems like it needs a hold down - not for the entire performance, but a quick tap of the key is not sufficient.

This may cause confusion, I hope you will fix it, because for example to activate Dramaturgy we don't need to hold the button for a long time

Unfortunatly it happened again, perk worked at the start of the match but after a roll 1 and going to void in injured state it stopped working, check video

Apparently it stops working when you have packet loss when you try to use it, because its happened again, so sad that it's still not properly fixed
