3 things I hope doesn’t change on Freddy
I hope that the ability to teleport to gens stays, his weapon animations don’t change and the unique filter he has stays. Snares and pallets are alright and do help but if they decide to completely change his main power I’ll be neutral to it. The main reason I play Freddy is to teleport to gens using surveillance surge and oppression. Then using STBL for that cool animation. Plus that world filter changes the same old maps to look different. Coldwind looks completely different and I love it

wdym weapon animations shouldnt change?
Freddy being a small killer with short weapon has always lead to complaints. Also long arm Freddy is even lore accurate.

My only problem with the dream world filter is that scratch marks blend in with the ground textures on some maps. I hope they'll do something about that.
His snares and pallets are terrible. Especially since they don't allow Freddy to have any kind of synergy with pallet perks (not nice, devs). He should have a different chase power.
I like the teleport too but something that doesn't sit right with me, is that a survivor wakes up when you hook them, which makes your cooldown take longer. So you nerf yourself for hooking people. I kind of like that for anti tunneling purposes but for the teleport not so much.
The best parts about Freddy right now are his animations (his hit animation is so satisfying) and his laugh. That should definitely stay.

I just want the teleport cooldown to be much longer if the teleport is cancelled, because it’s super annoying when this killer spams 99% teleports on cooldown.

It does go on a cooldown when it’s canceled but I can see with some other buffs regarding generator teleporting the cool down can be made longer.

The teleport can stay, but I really hope his chase power is something different entirely. Snares and pallets are too passive. One of the major problems with the current iteration of Freddy is how bland the gameplay is. There are no big moments. No pop offs with his power. No power spikes. Just very passive abilities.

He should be able to teleport to gens that are blocked by the entity or completed.

I hope if his changes give him access to more than one thing you're not forced or limited to using them by addons like his current iteration.

Peanits already said that we WONT get OG-Freddy, sadly.
So, the best what I can think of in his current kit would be:
- Snares + Pallets Basekit
- Dream Projection Cooldown reduced
- Addon-Pass
- Remove the Possibility of waking up by failing skill checks (Ability 2 of Paint Brush Basekit)
I do hope they surprise us with a banger and not just put useless things like hearing things louder into the Basekit or something like this

His wall-break animation is really satisfying. Only Nemesis' beats it for me.

I love Freddy’s, Nemesis, Oni’s and Onyros.

I'd be really disappointed if all we get is buffs and both abilities at the same time.
I really hope they give freddy more accurate dreamworld.
